why not the fortuner or new montero? yung lumang montero lang naman (2012 and below?) ang may issues e. and bakit naman hindi pwede ang fortuner sa gov't official basta ba pera mo pinambili mo paki ba nila.
mux, well read the reviews. mixed reviews sa exterior and most do not like the interior.

when i look for a vehicle what i do is i visit the dealership at least twice and sit inside the vehicle a long time, trying all the seats - driver, passenger, 2nd row, 3rd row. tingin din sa cargo space. tapos babalik ulit ako and do it again, baka may hindi ako nakita the first time. it is something you will have for a long time so para ka din bumili ng bahay, dapat all the rooms are to your liking. pati maid's room, and not because maganda si inday (pangit lahat ang kinukuha na maid ni misis )
Total opposite naman kay kumander. Was eyeing for the new everest, sabi nya pangit daw yung exterior mukhang biya daw. MuX naman nagustuhan nya, kaya MuX kinuha namin.

kaya nga sabi ko mixed reviews ang sa muX. some like it and some don't. ang muX kasi, sa akin lang ha, e parang copy ng LC200 VX na pinaliit. it tried to get the elegance of the lc200 VX but since maliit sya parang nabitin tuloy at nagmukha siyang "mini-me". and we all know how awkward mini-mes look beside their big brothers.

mukha talagang guppy ang front the everest/ranger. ewan ko ba bakit naging ganun ang trend. mazda tried to look like the shark (and succeeded) and toyota/lexus sedans are like a cat fish (well they look like one to me).

Tama! Or else every time na may problema ang MUX or Fortuner, parating sasabihin ni kumander na sana Everest na kinuha mo 😁

Curious din ako sa peugeot. Mahal ba pa service? How about ung customer service nila okay kaya? Parts availability is a real concern though.

Peugeot brand isn't exactly a well-named brand in Europe region. Clarkson of Top Gear was fond of mocking their vehicles.

Our business parter has a Peugeot 3008, the first batch brought it. He got it because he is a frequent BMW customer so the salespeople suggested it for his wife.

Anyway the transmission is now busted simply because their driver doesn't always shift to neutral in traffic. Its really a car you should buy with your eyes wide open.

Beyond the budget ang Pegueot 5008. I was curious about it too nung nag UberX ako and the 5008 was the one the picked me up. Told another uber driver about it and sabi nya matipid daw yun sa gas. Pero at 2M medyo malabo.

On an unrelated note, parang nagpaparamdam yung Touran, was at Eastwood yesterday and lo and behold, VW had this zero down payment promo for the Touran. They don't have the entry-level anymore, just the 2.0 TDI at 1.7m.. little too rich and medyo nacoconvince ako to go for either a brand new Everest or Innova, or second hand na Fortuner. Wife decided we should give it 6 months and reassess the situation and I kind of agree wit her. Mahirap madaliin ang bagay na 10 years mo gagamitin lol

Ang pagkaintindi ko sa mga episodes niya is that reverse psychology ang patama niya. Yung peugeot parang luma na, bangga bangga na, eh umaandar pa rin. So reverse na sinasabi niya na matibay ang peugeot.

I guess at this point ang usapan boils down to fuel economy, safety, leg space ng 3rd row, cargo space and ano mas enjoy i-drive.
The Everest does not offer comfortable legroom for the 3rd occupants even if the 2nd row can be moved forward which would just make the 2nd row more cramped =)

How about considering a 7 seater Crossover like the nissan xtrail does offer a more comfortable ride than most ladder frame SUVs

I don't want to biased coming from a guy who is getting a 3.o mu-x hehe

    Mu-x
    - comfort is almost comparable to our crv but can't match the accord's comfort
    -value for money
    - fuel efficient
-2.5 variant releases full torque of 320nm at low rpm from 1400k to 2800k rpm so hit it until it is still the sweet spot hehe
    - I don't like the black interior prone to scratches
-Enough room for the 3rd row occupants
    - no turbo lags

    Fortuner
the outgoing model's comfort is far from the montero or the mu-x atleast is not that harsh which was the issue with the 1st fortuners that landed in our shores
-2.5 vnt eliminates turbo lags hindi ka ibibitn sa overtaking =)
    - The innova is more spacious
    - generous cargo space with 3rd row in use
I suggest you wait for the new model, sir

    Cheers!!
    Goodluck with your hunt
