Mahal e. And hard to secure cargo in the rear with this one.

Yes bro. By thermostat I meant temperature adjustment.

Biding my time. Prefer to have a buyer for my old truck before I buy. Lowball masyado yung mga offers so far. Who knows, maybe Kia might get desperate and give extra discount at year end.
definitely not for power! haha. yung naturally aspirated na 4ja1 sa higlander had 78hp i think. yung 2002 fuego namin noon 4ja1 direct injection pero hindi commonrail had 84-85hp ata. i'm guessing here hindi kaya yung (very) low pressure turbo nilagay to lower compression for engine longevity or emissions? fuel economy?

This one also has 78 hp IIRC so probably the same 4JA1 but modded to be Euro 4 compliant. Turbo but same output as the old NA haha. Might've been tuned for more pull than HP.

Pulled the trigger on this Traviz. Yung L300 is much cheaper but di ko talaga kaya bilhin, para kasing bumibili ng relic. Kia was the most modern, had the strongest engine but I have concerns on parts availability and long term durability. Ok na itong slow and steady but durable. I don't need the driver to go over 80kph anyway. I like that the front suspension is a double wishbone setup vs H100/K2500's torsion bars.

Unit is at the body builder's shop. Hopefully released next week. First time to buy new. Always went for 2nd hand/surplus units before.

    May turbo talaga.

At first I couldn't believe it as well coz the output is practically the same as the old school 4JA1. But you can clearly see the turbo behind the compressor. May intercooler pa nga. Press release also says it has a diesel particulate filter. Not sure why the output is so low but it doesn't really bother me as long as it does the job well enough and lasts long.

The Traviz is also quite bigger than the L300. Also has a 36% higher payload.

More of a forced purchase really. Old unit was fine. Just have to downsize, avoid ASBU units and deliver more quickly.

The Traviz has been a good frugal last mile delivery vehicle. Only qualms I have:

    1. Leaf springs are too light duty. If I load it up to max cap it sags.
    2. Fuel tank is a puny 40L. Driver wasting too much time visiting at the pump. 60L would have been fine.

We have a L300 Crdi been using it for more than a year. power is sufficient even at full load on Van.

its cheaper than the Traviz and H100. But just less than a year we replaced clutch disc, pressure plate and

release bearing. I cannot say its driver fault, the driver have been driving L300s for more than 10yrs.

Though not as smooth or 'soft' as the new one. Maybe this new L300's clutch is sensitive madikit lang foot engage na.

the Traviz passenger body is bigger than the L300s body. still 4ja1 but much modern looking inside and out.

I could rank it based on experience 1. Traviz 2. L300 , will not consider the hyundai H100. no experience on KIA.
