mga sir/maam im planning to buy my first car po and since wala pa akong alam sa ins and outs of owning a vehicle, i decided na second hand automatic na muna (ive driven a manual vehicle a few times pero off the street, yung tipong sinubukan ko lang patakbuhin yung sasakyan ng friend ko dahil wala pa akong license at di ko nagustuhan dahil nalilito pako sa functions ng clutch) kaya para safe i decided na small car lang muna at automatic para ma handle ko ng maayos habang newbie pa.
sinuggest sakin ng officemate ko eh honda jazz/fit automatic dahil yun gamit niya dati at ok naman daw... any opinions po specially with regards to the ff:
    fuel efficiency
    handling and suspensions
    availability of spare parts
    resale value

thanks in advance po sa mga mag aadvise
(im seriously considering this car as of now....pagka gamay ko na yung pagdrive sa kalsada eh plan ko either kia sportage diesel or toyota altis/vios)

    Get the local jazz.

Tsaka wala na ba issue ngayon regarding the "B" plates? diba before may issue?

    forgot the details nga lang.

I dont think laspag yung mga yan, sa kotse, mas laspag pa gumamit pinoy kesa sa hapon, sa kanila kasi mas madalas magpalit ng auto and road conditions there are better than here, kaya more often than not, fresh and very usable pa mga surplus parts, or cars na galing sa kanila.

PERO, still, converted yang mga yan, meh mga conversion namang safe, if papasadya mo na papaconvert isang auto, matututukan, pero kung ganyan,
quantity vs quality ang labanan, so more likely magsusuffer ang quality pag mass conversion ng mga units.

isa pa TS, jazz/fit na matic? matic == CVT, cvt in 1st gen jazz/fit GDs? I'll walk away nalang. kahit alagang CVT yan, medyo alanganin eh.

i agree, hindi laspag ang JAP cars, ang problema mo lang is kung yon yng flooded sa JAP, also it as shipped to the Phil and stored near the ocean port, rust is your problem plus the quality of conversion = you might risk your life

kung local, dapat sa kakilala mo lang, or else be prepared to get some surprises (good or bad)
