Traditional 5 speed A/T naman ito eh. Honda ditched the CVT for this generation due to problems encountered with the last one. Maintenance shouldn't be too expensive for you, especially if you have an ASX. Besides, you change oil only once every 10,000 kms. Personally, I don't find maintaining Honda's overly expensive as proven by the two Accord's in the house. Gas consumption aside, there's really not much to spend besides the periodical oil and filter changes.
I see, hindi pala cvt ang 2009 model!?
Sa Asx, confidence naman ako na hindi ako bibigyan ng transmission problem for another next 2yrs since brand new sya, maybe for the next-next 2yrs.
Gas consumption, as long as mas matipid sa ASX, it will be a good compliment.
(Now, hintayin ko na lang na ilower pa nya sa 500k yung price at balak ko ng mag "go" kung wala akong matuklasan pa na problema later on. Nabanggit lang din nya na nagpa-polymer sealant sya, I dont know if he's trying to hide a problem o pinapogi lang nya pa para mag-upraise ang value)
Thanks sa inputs bro...
Yup, w/ paddles sya.
Ano pa ba meron sa makina nya, any input?

I drive a Honda City 2009 1.5E AT. My average FC is 10 Km/L for city driving (Paranaque-Makati-Taguig). I get 15 Km/L on the highway (managed to do 450 Km on 30 liters). Kapag sa normal street traffic conditions, I just put the tranny in D but I let it go into S with paddle shifting on the highway. I like to shift early using paddle shifters as putting it in D on highway cruising takes a bit longer to shift up.
