I am planning to buy a second hand AUV or SUV and my budget is 350k. I currently drive a 1997 Honda Civic and its fuel consumption is 8km/liter kung city driving. Im looking for an AUV/SUV na around that figure din ang fuel consumption. I usually drive alone everyday pero I carry around 5-8 passengers pag weekends and mahilig kami mag-out of town. My choices are either: Crosswind, Revo, Adventure or the first gen CRV (2000 model) that my dad is selling to me at 340k. I need your inputs to help me decide. My primary considerations are: (1) Fuel efficiency; (2) Dapat hindi masyado matagtag; and (3) dapat hindi mausok.

    Thanks.

civic going to an AUV, bro, expect that your AUV is matagtag. lahat ng naririnig ko (revo, advie, crosswind), lahat daw matagtag. ang rear is leaf spring (molye) in short, so matagtag talaga. pero comfortability ang paguusapan eto ang order ko:

    crosswind, revo, adventure

kung fc ang paguusapan, tingin ko eh lahat yan pareho lang, wag mo lang isama sa usapan ang gasoline na revo at adventure.

my vote goes to crosswind, get the xuvi version kung kaya mo or kahit xto version.

pero if you can cough out a bit more, say 30k, why not go for a jdm gen 2 pajero? mas comfortable ka dun, 7-8 seating capacity, same engine with adventure (4d56), difference is it is 4d56 tdic, it has intercooler turbo. just my thoughts, its up to you to decide bro. happy hunting!

I heard nga na Crosswind daw ay mabagal and mausok pero matipid sa diesel. Im thinking nga din of buying JDM Pajero pero maraming nagsasabi, including my dad na sirain daw. Dun sa mga actual users ng crosswind, revo or adventure,(even JDM Pajero) what do you think?

i am a jdm pajero user. so far so good naman. kaso i use the 2.8 version, hindi ang 2.5. ang ano ko lang, ingat lang sa pagpili at dala ka mekaniko na mapagkakatiwalaan mo pag bibili ka ng jdm pajero. hindi siya sirain kung aalagaan mo mabuti

Bihira or mahirap hanapin sa 2nd hand market ang REVO Diesel. As for REVO Gas, expect a FC of 5-6 km/liter, city driving.

Crosswind naman, if automatic ang kukunin mo and XUV model or higher, hindi rin matipid sa diesel. Get the manual version, I hear it's has better FC.

First Gen CRV FC is not so good din. The automatic tranny model only goes 6 km/liter city driving.

JDM Pajero tsambahan yan. Pero your dad is right, more often than not, sirain and sakit lang ng ulo. For me, not worth it.

    HTH.

I swear by our Crosswind XL, super tipid at super tibay, malamig pa ang aircon, it still runs like brand new even after 75,000km.

[SIZE=3]Ang crosswind nga siguro cool a/c pero about the tagtag problems ewan ko lang. Mabagal din ang hatak ng xwind.
The revo...ive tried riding my relative's GSX variant. SUPER COOL ng aircon pero I havent computed for the FC
    The advie.....no comment
The CRV....okay porma but the FC is quite bad and the tagtag factors are still there.....I think

get a diesel para tipid... pero maingay makina.. so baka ma-stress lang po kayo..

yung revo VX200 and GSX kaya mas malamig eh dahil Denso ang aircon system, the rest ng ibang revo model eh sanden na po,

what i have is a 2003 revo gsx model hehe.. fuel consumption po eh from 4 to 9KM/L, and hindi po sya malakas sa gas, kundi.. sobrang laklak ng gas hehe.. pero na enjoy ko naman for 5 years and still orig pa lahat ng parts.. gamit pa namin today..

why not try muna ninyo yun CRV na benta ng erpat ninyo, then pag masikip, benta na hehe

    RE: jdm pajero...

oo aminado ako na madami nagrereklamo sirain eto at chambahan ang pagkuha nito. for sure, nagkataon lang na magandang unit ang nakuha namin, kaso maganda din ang price. IMO, dapat nasa choice mo pa rin eto.

its not true na porket JDM na, eh sirain na. in fact, eto pa ang nag-urge sa kin to be more interested in this field. i have my pajero for over a year na and it served me very very well. ang tip lang dito, kuha ka lang ng galing port irene, kasi for me eh magaganda ang conversion doon at malinis.

Help in deciding which AUV/SUV to buy
