Hi guys. A couple of question lang regarding documents.

1.] What exactly does OR and CR stand for? Original Receipt, Certificate of Registration? Tama ba?

2.] RE: NBI/TMG clearance nung 2nd hand car.
*Is this a document the seller should already have?
    if not: *Saan kukuha nito?
and *Is it the seller's responsibility/duty to provide this document?

    3.] RE: Deed of Sale
*Whose names and signatures should appear on this document? Owner/seller. buyer, kailangan ba ng witnesses?
    *Should this be notarized?

That's it, at least for now. Thanks in advance to everyone.

This documents clears the 2nd hand car being sold from being a "hot car". Ideally the seller should get it and provide. You can get it sa Crame TMG head office in Manila and sa provinces meron silang counter part.

    Yes on all.

cr is the paper that you get once you buy a car so the date should be the tear it was purchased(1st owned), wag ka mag taka kung 2000 yung date ng cr but the car is a 97, it means nag trans fer sya ng ownership.

orm is the receipt that u get every year when u pay for the registration of the car, so dapt every year yan depending on the plate.

ask ko lang, how about kung ako, bibili ng sasakyan...pwede bang "open" ung deeds of sale?

means: ung name ng buyer ay blank, pero signed na ng owner ung deeds of sale?

    is it ok na ganito:
2 copies(1-original,1-carboncopy) of the deeds-of-sale na signed by both parties and 2 copies(1-original,1-carboncopy) of the deeds-of-sale na signed lang ng buyer.-->if ever i would re-sell the car before a year..

sagot sa lahat ng tanong mo: pwede kapag pumayag yung seller...meron kasing di pumapayag.....gawin mo na lang lahat original...3 original copies doon sa signed by both parties at 3 original copies sa open deed of sale...mapupunta kasi sa notaryo yung isang original copy, yung isa sa seller at yung isa pa sa buyer...kapag ipapasok pa sa loan sa bangko iyan mas maraming original copies kailangan mo ;) ...yung open deed of sale saka mo pa lang mapapanotaryo kapag may bumili na sa iyo...

oh, 3 copies pala...so i'll just print 2 more kung sakali pala(1 closed and 1 opend deeds of sale)...thanx ha, sir chieffy...ready for swap na kasi delica ko,e...i'll just prepare both, kasi baka magsawa ako with-in less than a year sa i-sswap sa aking delica,e..

diba ang requirements naman ay nakaprint sa back-side ng "stencil form",diba? at dun ko fifile kung saan i-nissue ung CR,right?

puede yung open deed of sale if hindi pa dadalhin yan sa notaryo

however, if you bring the documents to be notarized, the notarial law requires the presence of all the parties and their witnesses. in fact, sa bagong notarial rules, even the parties and their witnesses have to sign the notarial book already. dati wala yan

pag sinabing "subscribed and sworn to" sa acknowledgment or jurat, ibig sabihin nyan is that the parties personally signed and swore to the documents before the notary public

of course, alam natin that in practice may mga shortcut pa rin yan. look out na yan ng notaryo and its his notarial license on the line

but, i advise that if you do not know who you are dealing with or hindi mo kakilala, then take the extra effort to haul him or her before the notary public and have the deed of sale properly notarized. this will help avoid any future complications and/or problems.

Yes, ipafile or ipa-process yung new CR kung saan yung first CR ay nakafile or pwede rin sa kahit saang lto office as long as meron kang confirmation of CR/OR.

Dapat kasi centralized na to para mas madaling magprocess.

    From lto.gov.ph: http://www.lto.gov.ph/mvreq7.html#priv

Plain Transfer of Ownership For Private Vehicles
    Documents Required
    1. Original Certificate of Registration (CR) and latest original Official Receipt (OR) of payment
    2. Original Deed of Sale of the Motor Vehicle
    3. Clearance from Philippine National Police-Traffic Management Group (PNP-TMG)
    4. Endorsement from the Insurance Company to the New Owner
    5. Actual inspection of MV with duly accomplished MVIR
    6. Confirmation of CR/OR (Cir-91-137) if issued by other LTO Agency
    7. Taxpayer's Identification Number (TIN)

OT: Pano ba papunta sa LTO Muntinlupa coming from Makati or Pasig.

sa CR dapat nakalagay sa "aquired from" ay name ng car dealer, or country of origin...not an individual name....
