April 8th, 2008 10:37 AM #1hi.. newbie po me dito...
we're a victim na ng mga modus operandi... My father bought a van.. pero ilang months pa lang sa amin.. nagkaron ng kaso... it was a carnaped van.. mntik ng makulong father ko.. nawala yung sasakyan namin... nagastusan pa ng malaki... for the bailed... we thought it was legal... kasi kompleto mga documents, ok naman ang plaka... pero may kapareho pala ng record.. iba ang plate no. pero pareho ng chasis, engine at file no. Do you have any idea kung pano at kanino kami pwedeng lumapit???????
may alam ba kau tungkol dito? How can we solved this case? Sana mabawi namin yung pera... or at least maclear lang yung issue, maclear lang name ng father ko at managot ang may kasalanan...

nung pinacheck nyo ba sa TMG yan before malinis ang record? as in walang kapareho? if this is the case, its with the TMG record's fault. i would suggest getting yourself a lawyer.
kung ibabalik nyo yung oto, mukhang malabo na unless you try to talk to the previous owner on this.

The most na masusuggest ko bro is habulin nyo ang nagbenta sa inyo ng carnapped na van na iyan. . Sad to hear your plight.

Di ba AFAIK pinapacheck sa trafcom (macro etching if im not mistaken among other items), paano nakalusot ? You could sue the hell out of TMG na lang kung hindi talaga makita ang seller.

August 14th, 2008 05:30 PM #7Baka hindi napo napa macro etching... Next time po when your going to buy a Car po mas maganda if you could go to the sellers house... and kahit hindi po siya nakapangalan sa OR CR execute pa rin kayo ng deed of sale as if siya yung owner... para pag dating sa ganitong situation pwede mo pakita yung deed of sale with Photocopy of ID nung pinagbilhan ninyo... Although this does not guaranty na safe na kayo pero ang lalabas po talaga na binili ninyo lang yung car and your in good faith...

August 19th, 2008 08:07 PM #10That's the reason, when we sell our cars, we tell the buyer to go to our house and check the car themselves and scrutinize the legality of its paperworks and we always insist that we sign a deed of sale with a seal of a notary public so that the buyer has a peace of mind that the vehicle is clean and in case they have questions, they could easily get to our place.
I watch this case of 2 Pajeros in a show in ABS-CBN. 2 Pajeros with the same plates, color, etc. The owner of the Pajero was driving his different car when he saw their Pajero on the road. He called their house and they told him that no one used it. He reported immediately to the cops. In the end and out of his knowledge, unluckily, he's the one with the carnapped vehicle.
Buhay na buhay ang BGC this evening. Bukas halos lahat ng restaurants. Sabi pa nung isang cashier...
