Sirs, need your valuable inputs regarding a 2005 ford escape offered to me at P340k:

    + POINTS:
    1. 2005 model
    2. Clean Engine Bay
    3. Very clean and nice interior
    4. Good engine performance
    5. ok starter
    6. ok underchassis
    7. Owner is nice person

    - POINTS:
    1. 190K Odometer reading
    2. Need to replace all tires
    3. Body scratches maybe needs "hilamos"
    4. 2nd owner
    5. Car is based in hilly place

These are the things I observed as I see it...

    thanks in advance...

Goodbye! High mileage cars can't demand a fair market value as lower mileage cars. Some 05 Escapes can be had at 320-360k--low mileage, in original and very fresh paint job etc. At 340k it land right at the middle, and what? It has high mileage, needs 4 new tires and due for repaint.

    Find a better unit.

Gamble na yan, 190k odo at Php340k!
Baka abutin ka pa nyan ng 0.5M para sa reconditioning, then after 1yr may magsusulputan pang sira...

    Think thrice bro!

    Hindi ko po pala naidagdag:
    1. New battery
    2. Napalitan na Belts
    3. Reg. fluid diko pa na check
    4. Radiator not yet check
    5. Aircon ok malamig but as per owner better to bring it to aircon service for cleaning

    Thanks for your pointers...

    Thanks sir...

Iniisip ko kasi na its better to get a car with a high odo meter reading that is honest than to get something na mababa pero

Mileage depends what the normal route of the car is, baka naman puro NLEX yan everyday then it's ok. Mas ok yung high-mileage vehicles that's frequently driven on the highway than cars with acceptable mileage pero never umalis sa city traffic.

The GRX Starex we have on the province is year 06 yet has 200k kms on it. Pero it hardly experienced traffic, so as of the moment, it still runs like a dream. Walang hesitations yung makina pag kailangan mo ng power.

But then, kung 190k odo, city driving... goodbye na yan.

That is a good point sir, actually yung unit is in Baguio City which is a very hilly place,
