    If you look at the Tucson iX average FC thread, ako lang ang naka R-eVGT na nakaka abot ng 8km/L.. Usually 9.5-10.5km/L sila. Mabigat lang talaga paa ko.. Tsaka 4WD kasi yung Tucson.

    Yung Santa Fe namin 2WD lang, hamak na mas matipid sa Tucson half tank lang naubos sa balikan ng Baguio-Commonwealth.

    Ganon 9.5-10.5km/L pure city driving? haha kelangan mo na pala magbagumbuhay. Kapag kinumpara sa SF 4x4, malayo ba ang diprensya sa FC ng SF 4x2?

    Siguro 1km/L lang ang diperensya..

    Pwede na rin. Buti sana kung katumbas lang ng 1km/L ang price difference nila

    Pero "Iba talaga pag Top-of-the-Line"

    Eh bat hindi 4x4 yung binili mong SF? Hina ng offroad capabilities ng SF, wala pa siyang LSD, kapag tinanggalan ng 4x4 eh di wala na talaga...

    Nadala mo na ba off-road ang Tucson mo?

    Tulad nga ng sinabi ko.. Sana katumbas lang ng 1km/L yung presyo ng 4X4 Santa Fe.. Masyadong mahal eh, 1.788M. Tsaka di ako bumili nyan

    Yung Tucson? Offroad? Never.

    Mababasag/magagasgasan/magkaka-damage lang yung "Precious" 18" mags nyan.

    Dami pa naman nag-hahabol sa OEM mags ng Premium

    Eh... mayaman naman kayo diba?

    Sayang naman ang pagkaka-4x4 ng Tucson mo. Gayahin mo yung isang ninong ko. Bumili siya ng Fortuner 3.0D4D, tapos nilagyan ng Concept One 24 inchers. Kapag pumupunta ng probinsya, binabalik sa stock rims. Ikaw naman bumili ng lumang rims ng lower spec Tucson.

    It's not about pagiging mayaman. Minsan maganda rin bumili ng base model tapos salpakan ng mga accessories.

    4X4 yung Tucson, parang Santa Fe lang din yan at mga BMW SAVs. Hindi kayang mag offroad kasi built for comfort lang naman. Tsaka yung 4X4 nyan pang inclined tarmac at light offroad lang. Pero kahit light offroad hindi ko pinapatulan..

    Hindi ko nga pinapa-andar yung Tucson sa tabing kalsada na lupa e

    So ano ang sinalpakan mo na accessories to date? At kung gusto pwede ba ito lagyan nalang ng 4WD system na parang plug and play? O magkaiba talaga ang pang-ilalim?

    Grabe ang pang-aalaga sa rims... Dapat yung Sonata ang binili mo at hindi Tucson.

    Accessories, wala pa. Walang time para mag-Banawe..

    Alam ko yung SF katulad ng Tucson, iba ang pang-ilalim ng 4WD.

    Maganda yung Sonata, gusto ko yun. Pero Tucson ang nasa puso ko. Kasi SUV talaga mga trip ko. Wala pa ako sa edad para mag Luxury Sedan. ;)

    Dapat talagang alagaan yung mags ng Tucson Premium dahil mahal yun..

    So mas matibay ang pang-ilalim ng 4x4 versions nila? Pwede mas mabigat na payload, perhaps?

    Considering the way you treat your mags, nakaakyat na ba ng bundok ang Tucson mo? At malaki ba ang silbi ng V-Power Diesel sa makina nito kumpara sa Regular Diesel?

    Na-akyat ko na ng bundok, Tagaytay

    Mas mataas lang ang cetane content ng V-Power Diesel. Hindi siya mas malinis. Magkasing-dumi lang. Pero dahil nga mas mataas ang cetane, mas malakas ang hatak.

    Sabi na nga ba mas mahal talaga maintenance nung diesel eh.. May question lang po, yung mga CRDi talaga po ba na medyo mas malakas sa diesel compared sa old school na diesel engine?

    Depende. Pero usually ganyan kinalalabasan.

    Kunwari the pathetic engine of the Crosswind vs. the CRDi VGT of the Grand Starex, mas matipid yung sa Crosswind..

    Kasi walang power.

    Hehehe! That's the irony. For all the better technology, worse fuel consumption... coz you maximize the performance.

    The Crosswind is probably thriftier, coz you don't push it as much kapag nainis ka na sa bagal.

    If you drove the newer diesels with a light foot coz it's already running faster, then that should be thriftier.

    It's easier to get 10 km/l in traffic with the Crosswind than with many CRDi trucks... but there's a peculiarity there... I think most can't use their lean-burn strategy at low rpms because of the quality of local fuel... but on the highway, to maintain 12+ km/l, you've got to be going 80 km/h or slower in the Crosswind. You can still get 12+ km/l with a CRDi going at 100+, with overtaking power to spare...

    I've always felt the Crosswind was fuel efficient because it manages to get the power of a 1 liter gasoline engine out of a 2.5 liter diesel. :hysterical:

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    10+ kms/L rin ang 4JJ1 which is good for a 3L engine.

    Lalo na pag may turbo...kahit N/A pag nilagyan ng turbo mas malakas na (4d56 ng adventure and 4d56 IC ng gen 2 local pajero). Parang afterburner ng mga fighter jets. Extra spray of fuel for extra power.
