Ford ecosport

Hello,

Since nagkaproblema po ko sa dati na nakuha na car, naghanap ako ng ibang second hand na car.

Meron na po kami nakita na direct owner. Ford ecosport 2016, 35k odo. Clean title (kamaganak na ang may ari), casa maintained and price 430k.

Sa province ako nakatira, sabi ng ibang tao sa akin na mahal daw ang maintenance ng ford at mahirap maghanap ng parts? May ford naman po na casa sa location ko.


Any advise po? Gusto ko sana kunin kasi sure clean papers na yun. Ayoko na sana bumili sa hindi kakilala.

Assuming it is a Trend AT, price was P885K. So, depreciation-wise it is a fair price, but check the ads to have a better comparison.

If Ambiente MT, P775K was the purchase price.

If AT, malamang may inherent problem iyan sa DCT (transmission) even if the owner is swearing to high heavens na walang problema...

IF I WERE YOU, do not purchase.... Ikaw lang sasalo ng problema ng sasakyan...

I'd stick with Toyotas

Sa budget mo maghanap ka honda city cvt transmission. Napakatipid sa gasolina.

or magmobilio ka cvt matipid din.

Lalo na sa probinsya ka pala eh kung walang traffic at makinis kalsada eh sisiw 14-17kilometers per liter mobilio. Sa honda city may nabasa ako 22-24kpL

Kung manual transmission, pwede na. Kung DCT, iwas ka na.

In my experience, Ford parts are expensive if you are to get it from casa. If outside, it's barely different than some Japanese models. Mura na rin kahit papano. I suggest joining car clubs, dun ako nakakahanap ng sakto, orig tapos murang parts for our Ford. Pwede lang ipa LBC. Alam nila yan.

Kung ganyan, advice ko po sa inyo, wag niyo na kunin yan. Yung ecosport kasi sa year model na yan, DCT ang gamit. Parang automatic din. Proven na sirain yan. Kahit sa Ford Focus club daming nagkrereklamo about sa transmission na yan. Ford even acknowledged it. Better if iresearch niyo sa google. It's a pretty known issue for quite some time now.

Medyo mahirap po kasi mghanap sa probinsya. Mahal po benta nila. Di din po makadayo sa manila dahil sa covid. Hrap kumuha ng travel pass.

Do you have a picture? I think the newer gen Ecosport cane out on the latter half of 2018.

The previous gen Ecosport had the problematic dry-clutch DCT (Powershift) tranny. The newer gen already has the traditional AT tranny.

Edit: 2016 pala, stay away na lang. Hehehe

Tingin tingin ka muna.. inquire then inspect.. wag ka lang papa bola sa mga "low mileage" "well kept" "no issues" marketing spiels.. at lalong lalo na sa " lady driven" na spec.. hehehe.. tsaka yung tipong "pa benta lang daw? At wala may ari... check the docs.. mas ok kung owner-seller...
