The only thing we see that's a knock on the Fortuner Q compared to the Montero GT 4x2 is the ride quality. Is the difference between the two's ride quality that significant?
Montero is wallowy, not my type since high speed stability is not so encouraging. Fortuner is stiffer but more stable at speed.

If you're set on the Fortuner, you can improve the ride with softer shocks. Sobrang daming options pagdating sa suspension upgrades.

We're not set on the Fortuner per se. We're still considering all options. I just think that so far, the Fortuner is the best one to get among the SUVs in that price range. Of course if there are better options, we'd consider those too

Instead of the GT, why not consider the Montero GLS and save a bunch.. i just got one recently for 1.578m (that's less 150k discount on srp)

My mom wants something with a better interior (leather) and more features than the one on the GLS

Ah, GLS premium nga pala ang leather seats and other goodies.
Worth the price difference naman between premium and non-premium, especially if you’re driving it.

    Left field option, Xpander Cross.
    May leather at more features.
    Comfortable ride at interior space.
    Not so bulky exterior.
    Under 1.2M after discounts.

Mas madali naman installan leather seats mga non-leather unit if you're on a budget.
Dami magagaling na upholstery that can install quality leather seats for your unit.

Innova mas mahal dahil sa tatak toyota at diesel engine which is 2.8L w/6speed AT if i compare mo siya sa xpander which is only 1.5L w/4speed AT.

Xpander cross fuel consumption on a 80kph, hirap daw paabutin sa 9+km/L.
Not sure of the speed beyond that, hirap mag travel beyond that speed sa road namin.
