We are now in the process of buying a second hand car.
The car's seller is asking us if it's ok if we would process the Deed of Sale in a different region because of tax declaration issues. specifically, we are in Mindanao and they want to process the Deed of Sale in Cebu. They said they know lawyers there that could assist them with this.
Is this a cause for concern? Is there any problem of having a car with a deed of sale from a different region from where you're at?

September 6th, 2010 11:11 AM #2I think wala naman problema ito. However, better check with the lawyer who's going to do the notary public.
i know someone who had a car bought in Davao, but is now driving the said car in Manila. His dad had it shipped here.
