Car Registration Fee

Hi Guys, I recently acquired a 98 Space Wagon and I'm having the car registered soon. I asked someone from LTO on how much the registration fee would be and he said it will be arounf P7,500.00. Ganun po ba talaga kamahal? Is it due to the Gross weight (1900Kg) and engine displacement (1834cc)? I hope you can enlighten me on this. TIA

yup. di ka na lalampas ng 2k dyan bro. pero syempre, wala pa dyan yung CTPL (which normally costs 500 pesos) and yung emission test (i think it costs around 300 pesos), so hindi ka lalampas ng 3k all in all.
