    Hi Guys, I recently acquired a 98 Space Wagon and I'm having the car registered soon. I asked someone from LTO on how much the registration fee would be and he said it will be arounf P7,500.00. Ganun po ba talaga kamahal? Is it due to the Gross weight (1900Kg) and engine displacement (1834cc)? I hope you can enlighten me on this. TIA

    yup. di ka na lalampas ng 2k dyan bro. pero syempre, wala pa dyan yung CTPL (which normally costs 500 pesos) and yung emission test (i think it costs around 300 pesos), so hindi ka lalampas ng 3k all in all.

    baka akala nya brand new. 3 years yung duration ng new car registrations di ba? how much ba for new cars?

    sobra naman yan... kung sakin mga less 3K yung 1.6 ko. di yata aabot sa ganun pag 2.0 ang displacement.

    magtanong ka nalang sa legit na lto persons.

    Hmm.. medyo nagulat nga ako kasi usually around 3K lang binabayaran ko sa Corolla namin kasama na insurance..
    Any other comments from those who might know kung bakit ganun kamahal?

    wag ka ng humingi dito ng comment kung bakit ganun kamahal. isang malaki bogus ito. dapat nasa 2500-3k lang yan. wag mo na ulit kausapin yung taong yan. peace!

    regarding car regisration may tanong lang me example nakabili me ng 2nd hand na car kumpleto sa documents at deed of sale. pano kapag nag register/renew ako nun same fees ba ang kokolektahin ng lto sa akin like any other registration renewal? or me other fees pa ba? mga ano yun? at saka magkano mgagastos ko lahat lahat? thanks

    Same lang ang fee sa last registration ng car. Unless sinabay mo ang pag change of ownership, of course may additional na babayaran para dyan. And malamang magpa change venue ka na rin, another fee ulit.
