Thanks po Sir Egan for sharing the details with your FXT.

Sa nagtatanong between inhouse and bank, sa bank pa rin mas makakatipid kahit ano pa ioffer ng inhouse.
But of course, depende pa rin sa bank, go for the cheapest interest.
Share share ng quote dito if ok lang. Thanks!

    Hello,

If a dealer gives 50k discount and you buy it thru direct bank financing, should the 50k be deducted from the car’s SRP and not from the downpayment?

I plan to pay 50% cash and 50% auto loan.

Or Will it be the same regardless if the discount is applied on the SRP VS the downpayment?

Not a finance person, but it should be the same since the down payment is part of the purchase price.

Discount is deducted from the SRP. Amount to be financed is net of discounts. So your DP will be computed from that amount.

Say, their srp is at 1.05MM, after discount it will be 1.00MM... bank should give you qoutation for 1.00MM...

Hi, im planning to buy my first car next week and im incline in choosing brv touring. Would like to know your thoughts on it pros/cons? I initially choose from rush or brv but after seeing both personally, i opted for brv.

Im also new to this and im not sure what freebies should be included in the package if im loaning from a bank. From what i read here, rustproofing is not required and will just be a waste of money.

Hoping for you help on this. Thanks!

The usual "freebies" daw, floor mats, basic car seat cover , umbrella, 500peso gas, yes the rust proofing which I did not avail and bargained for another, LTO 3yr reg, freebie spare key and ewd daw, and a 15k discount.

I know nothing about the unit, I just heard about the issue with the roof railing when it rains or something . Has Honda fixed that concern?

Thanks for your reply. I think it is still an issue based on the brv thread here in tsikot. Can i bargain for the visor instead of the rust proofing? I know that thid will vary among different agents.

Actually that's what I did, visor vs rustproofing. Ayaw ng manager, kinulit ko lang yung agent para mapapayag si manager. I Never compared the price though. My second option was a trunk tray. But I found the visor more useful.

Hi new member but long time lurker [emoji1]

Was inquiring at a dealer today for their best price since we will be paying via bank PO. The dealer gave us a better offer than the previous one we met, with the condition that the downpayment be paid at the dealership instead of the bank.

Is this legal and the norm? The previous dealerships we talked to didn't mention this.

    Thanks!

For specifics, this is for the Suzuki Vitara. Previous discount was only 30K to 40K but this was the best at 48K.

Whatever the merchandise, downpayment naman is always paid to the seller di ba? The bank also pays the balance to the seller.

make sure the conditions of the deal, are on paper for everyone to refer to, in case "things get confusing and/or some folks forget them" in the future..
