Oh! You mean tow ropes! Kala ko kung ano towing lines... :D

Just specify what you need, tow ropes are intended for long haul or pull. Snatch straps are for sudden jerks and recovery.

Which is makikita pa rin dun sa pic. Sa tibay nitong tow rope, I think it has a capacity of 4,000kgs. :D

badkuk::: You'd risk body damage with chains. Aray!

Most offroad shops carry these kind of straps. Kung gusto nyo ng medyo mura, contact our seamen posters here in tsikot. :D

Never ever use something made of metal. If that snaps, it has enough stored energy to significantly damage the rear end of the tow vehicle and/or the front end of the vehicle being towed. As much as possible, avoid anything with metal in it. Yes, that includes those tow ropes with steel hooks sold at the mall. I had a hook fly right into an LC80's rear bumper (sorry, Jan ).

Your best bet would be off-road shops. Yung binigay ni sir Nightrock sakin ay designed for hauling heavy loads (not necessarily towing). You will also need some D-schackles just in case the vehicle that will be towing you has small tow hooks (minsan tow loops lang). Just like what happened when we needed to recover a Jimny in High Peak.

Yeah, it's a cheaper alternative, nylon ropes can also be used. But it will take its toll sooner than a real tow rope. You get what you pay for. :D
