pag ngayong december ka bumili ng kotse, model 2003 'yun.
pag sa january, model 2004 na ba tawag dun?

pag binenta mo, mas mgandang pakinggan yung 2004, hence, mas mataas ang resale value

FYI, toyota will have a price increase on december 23 for all their cars, 100K for the previa and 150K for the prado, don't know the increase for other cars, due to the peso devaluation daw. i'm sure other manufacturers will follow.

Palagay ko kaya ganun kalaki ang increase para may allowance sila sa expected na pagbagsak pa ng peso next year...Kaya mas mabuting nang bumili ngayon.

i ask my agent sa toyota otis.. Altis and Vios will increase by 40 to 50k.

Sabi ng agent ko sa Toyota Makati, the hardest hit are the CBUs, such as the Vios. Since Altis is assembled here, the increase isn't as much.

He said this increase was caused by the Jap Yen, that's why the CBUs have a higher price increase.

Minsan you'll see sa car ads "1999s" meaning late 1998.

Prices will increase if FPJ wins... you can bet on that

Isn't the Altis being assembled in Thailand?

Or wouldn't that matter because of the AFTA?

If you plan to change cars every 3 years or so, that will make sense. But, if you are like me who can afford to change my car every 10 years, you shouldn't even be concerned about the resale value.

Yung 91 Lancer GTi ko, ran 180K KM. Maganda pa din takbo nya ngayon but heck, pwede ko na ipamigay. I bought a notoriously low resale value car na Sentra nung '01 and I don't care dahil 2010 na siguro ako magpapalit ng tsikot.
