September 2nd, 2009 09:02 AM #1Alam ko po na yung green na plate is private pero bakit may mga plates na kulay green ang background tapos puti yung mga letters at numbers?
Kasi ang karaniwan 'di po ba yung green ang letters and numbers tapos white ang background.
May ibig sabihin po ba yun or pareho lang?
Para kasing may nabasa ako somewhere na 1993 below yata yung ganung plates (not sure though).

Not below 1993. That kind of license plate design was used until 1995-1996 if I am not mistaken. Usually, the plate with the green background is placed at the rear. For gov't vehicles, one of the plates has a red background with white markings. For PUVs, yellow background with black markings.

e paano po yung mga green prints with yellow and green combination background plates? dalas ko makita nito for tourist buses, pero meron din for sedan like vios and sentra. sa pasay, along roxas blvd, sa macapagal and sa airport ko sila nakikita

i think pang rental/tourist vehicles ito. ganito mga plaka ng mga airport taxis eh.
