    1. Performance parts/brand sticko (e.g. spoon, trd, ralliart, sparco, etc.)
    2. Club sticko (e.g. PADEK, grupo, mlph, etc.)
    3. Shop sticko (e.g. H3 autoworks, candyshop, clifford, etc.)
    4. And some more sticko (e.g. nuffsaid, tanginamo, safe, etc).
    5. Then you will realize sticko doesn’t add “that much” hp to your car.
    6. Then. you will try to start to learn the basic of ICE.
    7. On the side, someone will introduce to you the ported/sealed box, the SP/SQ, the “gapang”, the 12 inches, the 1-2-3-4 ch, etc.
    8. Then the stance and the wide wheels
8.1. The car shows, and syempre the mowdels.
    9. Then come the track day, and you’ll realize that all of the above (except for #6) doesn’t help making your car run fast.
    9. The. you’ll be serious about the real hp and the engine transplant, the coil overs, etc.
    10. Then start ka ulit ng topic sa tsikot: first project car.
    11. Then you’ll sell your FD to get an EK/EG.

Hahahaha! So, gets mo na? Just stick with the original plan... kung ano yung napusuan mo sa umpisa, push na agad!

Then, habang nakakaipon, napaisip ako magFD.

Then again, hindi ako Rice-rice, baka may factor hehe. I'd rather keep the FD exterior stock, and maybe upgrade some in the k20 (or swap engine )

This thread reminds me of my college days... twice din akong nadapa bago nakinig kay itay

Before I purchase an old car...

Then imagine the car na ginamit everyday ng kung sino sino... how will it hold

2nd - gaano ko sya katagal gagamitin (let's face it, first car medyo sentimental)

As for the question about EG Hatchbacks...

By the way, saan ka ba nakatira at bihira ka na lang makakita ng Civic FD?

+1 sobrang layo. Baka Ung Honda City GM (2009 - 2013) at Toyota Vios (2013-2018) ung tinutukoy mo sir since ung unang labas ng Vios, madami ang nagsabe na may similarities ung front fascia nila.

To be fair, the STI is generic.

May hawig sa current gen Almera yung likod

The looks of the rear part may be the same but that's just about it. Not even the spoiler makes the difference. It's how the car is built which make it different. Not every car has an AWD platform.

Yes, doc. It's like the mother or SO who keeps on bugging you. "Why do you keep on buying new cars that look alike?!?!"

Are Civic EG’s still worth it in 2020?

    Depends who’s asking.

For younger people (Millennials and younger) they will dismiss the EG as an outdated car with little to no creature comforts.

For older people (baby boomers or older)
they probably have an image of the EG as a noisy, low to the ground and uncomfortable. Most of them will stay away.

For GenXers (correct me if i’m wrong) we grew up seeing the EG as our dad’s, uncle, relatives car and was not old enough to own one. We are probably the group that wants to own this car more than anyone.

About the FD and Vios: dunno why someone thought they look the same. Probably need to see an eye doctor. Hehehe

    Front:
Fd: separate housing for hi & low beams
Vios: one housing for hi & low beams

    Side
    Fd: door mounted mirrors,
    Vios: pillar mounted mirrors

    Rear:
Fd: separate housing for brake, signal & reverse lights, with the other housing mounted on the trunk
Vios: all signals in one housing and mounted only on the body

Now with the mirage & current gen impreza, yes they have a similarity.
