06 picanto or o5 getz,which car to choose?

hello mga car gurus,need your advise on which car to choose,06 picanto or 05 getz? which is better in terms of parts availability and maintenance and fc?halos di magkalayo price nila getz is 280k at ang kia is 290k,please help..

Mas gusto ko ang Getz ang problem, i-out-of phase na yata ito sa susunod, parang papalitan ng i-series not sure though. yung Picanto, andyan pa rin naman.

I would get the Getz. Its a bigger car overall!

Parts shouldn't be a big deal! The Getz is pretty common and even if pinalitan na sya ng i series, I am sure madami parin yan sa Banawe sukis!

Sulit na yan pala. Pretty low mileage and 1.3L pa not the common 1.1L Getz we see around!

getz din for me...

im guessing sa internet nakita naka ads yung oto? * 280k, i would say na medyo mataas benta niya. alam ko selling value ng getz 05 ngayon around 220k - 250k max. pero kung talagang sariwa and excellent running condition, go for it and haggle with the seller. kaya yan sa 250k.

The Getz of that vintage has many variants. What engine does it have? 1.1, 1.4, or 1.5 diesel? What transmission?

A Picanto always comes with a 1.1 engine whatever transmission you choose.

But they are basically the same cars differing only in body shells (hence the difference in length). Almost every unseen component (brakes, suspension, aircon, etc.) is shared between the two. Even the 1.1 engines are carbon copies manufactured in the same plant (that's why they contain both the Kia and Hyundai logo).

For me, I like the Getz 1.4 A/T the most. That is considering the units being considered are in good condition.
