Is it worse than a Gen 1 Pajero? That's the slowest vehicle I've ever driven.

Bibile kayo ng 80s car, rainy sesson 3 months in a year lang, tapos used car sakit ng ulo all year round sa pwede masira o nasisira.
If you really glorify used cars. dapat restoration thread to. Coz passion will always overcome yan mga sakit ng ulo sa used cars

Ako my goal in restoration is go back to original. The way the engineers designed it. No add-ons no upgrades Tapos full-detailing to the max.
In my observstion in traffic or even in parking lotsm people tend to respect squeaky polished cars even if it's like 10 years old.
my SF is titanium blue. It's 10 years old. 2006 model. I missed the PPV revolution. Pero itabi mo mo SF ko say sa 2009 Montero or Fortuner na not properly-cleaned or waxed kahit pa naka AT tires sya na mya tapalodo.
Mas maganda pa din clean car na original.
Plus if your car is old it becomes rare sight in a sea of brand new cars today.
My Crv seems to be getting noticed today coz it's so clean and orginal while in traffic. Young teeners or young office workers seem to take interest.
My crv still has the old kenwood audio system, no usb, no bluetooth, not eveything. i like to dirve coz you dont plan anything to listen to when you drive. Kung ano lang ibato ng radio for the day. Sometimes, those things are priceless if you just want to drive without a care in the world spontaneity has its merits

Even with an engine in good nick, later auto Crosswinds are dog slow. The bodies have gotten lots heavier, the engine remains the same.
Our old XTO (mutant green) was horribly slow... but later Crosswinds were even slower.

Slow is relative, yes. An Econo Beetle is much slower... even with a manual... but we live in a day and age wherein even 500k cars (like the Mirage and Celerio) will hit 100 km/h in much less than 20 seconds.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
That's why i still have my XTO TOTL manual [emoji12]. Though di pa naka dive above fog lights. I evade flood as much as possible.

Not considering the 1st gen Everest? Not a North American Ford, with Jap internals. Old school turbo diesel engine that isn't too shabby on performance. Big and tall. Legendary reputation for toughness. Most importantly, goes for 300+k only...

How about a diesel Nissan Terrano? Not the Subic/Cagayan converted units, but the local ones that came out in the 90's. I'm actually toying with the idea of getting one and slap on some snorkels on it then leave it as it is.
I heard having a nice dinner while waiting for the rain to subside is very cost efficient.
