sir the acceptable is around 10k per year. pero it depends pa din sa gamit ng may ari... kung malayo office niya... etcetera.

for me i dont look much at the odo, test drive is the key on a purchase sa used unit. well thats my opinion lang naman.

Pwede ma-adjust yung mileage nyan kahit digital pa yung odometer, if you have the right tools/equipment mas madali pa nga ma-adjust yan kesa sa analog. Nung minsan may nakita nga ako sa ads ng Manila Bulletin Sunday edition na nag-ooffer ng adjust mileage sa digital, even yung kakilala ko na buy and sell admits na pwede pa rin ma-tamper yung mileage sa digital odometer.

kung digital yung odo, theres a way para malaman yung ganto... just go to the casa to know if tampered yung odo nila.

akin naman, i'd rather have a 96 Civic with higher mileage than a 99 Civic with which mas marami nang parts na due for replacement.

say, around 80tkms, timing belts, brake pads, tires, certain hoses, compressor, alternator, cv/ball joint and some suspension bushings are already approaching its end of life. while a slightly older 96 Civic halos lahat napalitan na ng parts na kelangan na palitan.

in short, ayoko bumili ng oto na ipapasalo lang sken ng owner ang maintenance ng oto nya.

basta get a while maintained one, mileage wont always guarantee that it's the better unit.
