August 20th, 2009 02:00 PM #1Mga Sir,
Need some advise po. We're thinking of selling our Revo
Details:
Revo GLX 03
First owned
65k plus mileage
Problem po is lumalabas na yung mga sira niya ngayon like tie rod and rack end, brake pads, inner and outer wheel bearing, rear shock absorber (may leak daw) sabi ng mekaniko. These things would cost a lot of money, ok lang ba kung ibenta na pag ganito or ipagawa na lang at i-maintain.
If we're going to sell I'm not sure kung magkano price these days (pa advise na rin po) and eto po naisip namen:
- buy second hand innova or buy brand new innova thru bank financing.
Ok po ba yung ganitong plan?
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

August 20th, 2009 03:53 PM #2parang hindi naman masyadong mahal mga nabanggit mong piyesa a hehe unless orig lahat ng bilhin mo or sa casa bibilhin. pero since mukhang hindi kayo makalikot ng sasakyan or sanay sa maintenance na ganyan, better nga na ibenta and buy a new one.
wag kayo mag 2nd hand uli kasi madedefeat din ang purpose. mas mahirap pa yung bibili ka na hindi mo alam yung service history and usage. better pang stick with your revo kung ganun. IMO

Since six years old na rin yung Revo, it's okay to replace it na with an Innova or Montero Sport.
yung mga sira nya, hindi talaga sira yan. It's normal wear and tear. It's bound to happen from daily use. Diesel ba yan? If it is, siguro kung ako, I'll just replace the worn parts then use it pa for maybe four years. Usually kasi maganda ibenta ang kotse after three or four years. pero pag six years medyo konti na lang makukuha mo - pero try mo din if you like the money you're gonna get from the sale.
Recession kasi ngayon, mas maganda may ready money ka rather than spend it on a car.

[SIZE=4]Para saakin, dapat sir palitan mo na car mo since as you said, problems are popping up already. And, since na mukhang kaya mo naman ang brand new innova kahit J lang, it is still better than a second hand innova maski V variant pa iyan, and it is also much better than your revo.
Ang brand new po ay less hassles ( well, except if you`re short of budget ) , worry-free driving, and mas pogi naman kapag nakabrand new ka, di ba po?
Well, preferred color ko po for J - E variant is red. Then if you could stretch your budget to G - V I`d suggest the Black or the Thermalyte color, even if it`s better to have a montero sport or a fortuner rather than having an innova v, since their ranges in price are quite the same.

August 20th, 2009 07:17 PM #7Keep ur Revo, save ur money.

Buying a new vehicle entails to more expenses (incidental and depreciation). duh! :D
An acquaintance-of-mine-'s family is not familiar with anything to do with car maintenance. So the very minute something breaks or needs replacement in their vehicle, they start talking of replacing the vehicle. So here they go buying a new car after new car while some lucky dude buys their supposed "damaged" fix-upper vehicle for a good deal.Last edited by number001; August 20th, 2009 at 07:54 PM.

3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
