Well, I think, you need to get a car loan online prior to going to a dealership. This takes a long time when buying a car because of them having to secure your lender and check your credit score. It will be much quicker if you have a loan ready. To get to know more whether bank vs. dealer financing and etc. is more cheaper, you need to check this page which is best for you Bank Vs. Hi,

Newbie here and I hope anybody can help.

I saw a Pajero for sale in one of the Buy and Sell FB groups in my area:

    Says it's 2004 AT 4x4 3.2L 4m41
    ODO at 160k+
    Selling at 650k

I hope I can get feedback from here before engaging the seller..

Is this too good to be true?

    TIA!

i can't see the wipers from the branch reflections.
if the wipers wipe from the left to the right, it might be a conversion kit, originally RHD.
legitimate RHD to LHD conversions are not cheap, and some importers have them converted at the cheapest expense.
also, RHD headlights have a different, glaring difference from LHD headlights. you can ask the seller to turn them on, and see the pattern. google the pattern, po.
last, some aficionadoes might be aware of what engine size are not locally available. if this is one of them...

lastly, see the number plate. is it "ordinary", or is it one of those associated with "used vehicle import centers" ? the same ones that the seapreme court has judged with finality, as "not allowed", retroactively.
of so, i would walk away.
while some will say, "ok naman if converted ok", i counter, more of them were not converted ok. are we a good gambling person?
sa daming legitimate na local diyan, bakit pa papatol sa questionable...?

Took a look at FB Marketplace. It would seem that 650k is indeed within the market price of a 2004 local diesel Pajero. There are many other cheaper units though. You may want to take a look. If given the opportunity, I'd look for something with a bit less mileage. 120k and below, perhaps? Hence, it is not too good to be true. Rather, it is actually too expensive! [emoji23]

From this picture, this is most likely not a converted unit. JDM CK's imported here were all pre-facelift, with a different grille and bumper. If there are interior pics, what will give a JDM away would be the 180km/h speedometer and a center console with everything positioned on the opposite side of the local version. Market price for those are at 400+k thereabouts.

If you don't want to give a huge amount quickly, then go for bank financing. I think it would be easier for your to pay in a long run. This is just my opinion.

Hello mga Boss, ask ko lang bale kc bago lang ako sa work ko and I'm planning to get a new car. Gusto ko sana mag car loan either BPI or PSBank. Tingin nyo malaki chance ko na maapprove considering na new palang ako sa work? May nabasa kc ako na dapat daw atleast 3yrs na sa current work? Totoo ba yun? 50% DP and 36months to pay yung plan ko para mabilis matapos and mababa interest.

Dapat yung monthly amortization mo, 30% ng monthly salary mo. So example 15k monthly amortization mo, dapat 50k monthly salary mo.

It is best that you go to your preferred bank and ask for their car loan promos. As for first year insurance, some banks do give that for free but not all banks. LTO registration might come free but you will surely pay for the chattel mortgage (around 3% of the loan amount).

Ok. Punta ako mismo sa branch. Ng email ako sa bpi ngbigay sila mortgage fee and total amortization.

Ano pa ung mga added payments bukod sa chattel, downpayment, lto, insurance?

better if you can afford to pay cash. especially with super high interest rates. you can save a lot of
money if you pay cash. my father use to say "if you can't pay for it in cash, it means you can't afford it."
