Hello! Hingi po sana ako ng advice kung anong marerecommend niyo na units given my criteria. Para po ito sa aking aging parents (60s) na madaming lakad. Right now they’re using a very old van (Grace). Thankfully nakapagipon po ako ng konti para sa kanila and I want to buy in cash po soon or in the next 6 months.

    - budget: 700k-1M comfy (flex up to 1.2 sagad)
    - not more than 7 years old
    - SUV or any 7seater na hindi van. Gusto ng tatay ko SUV sana. Bahain din po sa lugar nila pag tag-ulan.
    - Comfy: malalaking tao po sila, all 5’10” pataas at bilugin hehe
    - AT/diesel
    - Safety features: Gusto ko po sana yung may side curtain airbags at knee na din po. Dito po ako nahihirapan maghanap. Innova at pajero lang po ang nakikita ko online na pasok dito.

    Salamat mga katsikot sa tulong!

Toyota Rush na totl, although not an SUV, pasok lahat ng criteria mo.

Pangit lang interior, pero Toyota designed it naman to cater sa oldies, so baka di nila pansin.

Thanks boss. May diesel ba nun? Sa last search ko wala pa pero baka nakaligtaan ko lang.

    Wala, pero bakit need diesel?

Also kung malaki pala sila, baka medyo di comfy sa Rush. Best to test drive.

I don't get the obsession of Pinoys (based sa online comments) sa MT and Diesel.

Haha ako din sir nagtataka sa diesel “obsession” pero I guess it’s the cheaper fuel price? Di ako sigurado. Alam ko lang gusto niya (dad) diesel.

Thanks sa tip sir. Also I’d rather not buy brand new din sana para nakain na ang deprec kahit pano.

They are in the 60s, kung 2nd hand yan, ikaw ba mismo magpapagawa pag may sira na (physically & financially)?

Parang mas practical kung brand new, since may cash ka naman.

And they'll probably keep it until the rest of their lifetime..

They’re “pagawa” veterans due to years of keeping really old vehicles (they use it for business) so while I would love to get a brand new vehicle for them, the price of brand new suvs are too steep for me. What’s giving me peace of mind is that whatever I choose, it’ll definitely be better than their current car hehe.

But I’ll keep these things in mind boss. I would love to get a brand new vehicle if only I could afford it cash... [emoji22]

Just check 2nd hand Fortuners, Monteros and the likes.

Most likely 4x4 totl variant ang need mo for those 6 or more airbags.

i would think, being old and all that, they would prefer a sedan. "u-upo na lang, then pull their legs in".
my folks found it not-easy, to get up onto our taller vehicle. even wifey, prefers the sedan.
also, sedans probably offer the nicer, less-tagtag ride.
    but this is just us.
