I've thought about this too but my credit limit is not enough to cover the cost of a car.

Meron pero dagdag 8-10% yata so di feasible.

I remember a prominent makati businessman bought a bmw using his credit card

You'll be surprised to know na may mga street vendor na kumikita ng 80k/month.

paying in cash in large amount raises big question to the dealer, it is vulnerable with mixing with fake money, and besides the dealer would suspect that why is it that you have a huge amount of money to pay for it upfront yet don't have any banking knowledge that it can be done on a more easy and secure way?

On my own opinion. Nag bayad ng cash ang client. Sure na yung pera. Wala na akong reason para hindi tangapin or mag duda.. beside i can delay for hours or days bago ko realese ang auto. may time pa to clear by the bank..

They prefer MC. I can't think of any reason why somebody would bring cash to a dealer. Just doesn't make sense.

It's too cumbersome to bring cash. And who would want to travel with a million pesos (more or less) in cash? Much more if you are paying for a luxury vehicle.

The last time we paid cash (paper bills) for a car was in 1990 or 1991, I think an L300 van for costs 300k+ ata. My Dad gave me the task of keeping the money safe under the seat of the car. Needless to say I guarded that brown envelope with my life

For a managers check sandali lang clearing time (at most 1 hour).

AFAIN, You can't get the best deal if you pay in CC. Per advised by my SA there's bank charges / fees made by a bank to car dealer on top of the negotiated car price . Is this true?

3% is the usual charge when using a credit card.
