Buying 2nd hand X-trail

We're thinking of getting it as a family car at the end of this year.
We will most likely get a 2nd hand X-Trail, one that is still under warranty and casa maintained.
It will be mostly used by my dad, but also used by me when I have to be the driver.
I also might use it once in a while traveling to my work in Tagaytay, since it will probably have better visibility at night than my B13 in the darkness of Silang/Tagaytay. Ang Dilim kasi!

I just have a few questions regarding the X-Trail.
1. How's the mileage? and how does the mileage of the 3 X-trail lineups differ?
2. What mechanical problems should we look for when purchasing a 2nd hand x-trail?
3. What's the going price for 2005-2006 X-trail?

Also, any input or thoughts, or suggestions would really help. Thanks!

AFAIK, the fuel consumption is really not that great, partially as a result of the automatic transmission (which likes to downshift at the slightest sign of a slow down).

i have a 2004 xtrail 250x

1. city around 5-6km/l highway a little higher mga 7-8 bihira pa to
2. mechanically, honestly wala naman nasisira sa xtrail matibay naman ... since i bought mine NONE pa pretty reliable car
3. alam ko pag 250x its around mga 800-850k pag yung lower variants nasa 700-750k
