My wife and I are planning of purchasing a car through Bank Financing. May nakita na kameng seller na pumayag sa terms ng bank. Since required ng bank na ma-change name bago mabayaran si seller kelangan din ng TMG clearance for that said purpose. So what I told the seller is, bago ko kunin si kotse kelangan ko ng TMG clearance for changing ownership and proof na di carnapped yung bibilin ko.

    Need your Advice Fellow Tsikoters,
    Thanks

Totoo po ba na pag-nagpaClearance ang seller e irerequire na ang deed of sale with the buyers name on it?

normally, the buyer will shoulder the clearance. ang mahirap lang, kailangan mo dalin yung oto sa TMG. sabihin mo sa buyer if you and he/she could set a date na punta TMG.

another way is to go TMG and get the clearance "no show". kailangan may fixer to do this. normally kasi TMG would not allow a clearance na "no show".

EDIT: with the second post: yes, kung papatransfer of ownership na. pero pwede paclear yan with just the intent to buy the car.

no chance na makulong ka brad, hindi pa nakapangalan sayo yung oto. kung hot car yan, baka tumakbo na yung seller yung nalaman niya papaclear mo na sa tmg. another is, si seller yung hahabulin ng TMG kung may pending na kaso yan.

yes they would need clearance kung papatransfer of ownership na. pero kung bank loan alam ko, sila na maglalakad niyan. yung pinapakuha sayo ng bank is just proof na clear sa TMG yung oto.

it does not matter, pero kung ikaw kukuha, alam ko sa pangalan ng nagrerequest ilalagay pangalan.

as long nandun motor number, chasis number, plate number, color, registrant name, and year registered ok na.

transfer of ownership lang pwede kasi hindi pwede rehistro until sept or late august yung oto. nakabase pa rin kasi sa last digit ang rehistro.

ang hindi ko lang maintindihan, bakit kayo gagawa ng transfer kasi dapat yung bank na gagawa niyan since papamortage yung oto? anyway linawin na lang sa bank paano yung first step to last step ng financing.

another thing is pumayag yung seller na change of ownership muna bago bayad? medyo malakas loob niya. if that were me, hindi ako papayag. mahirap yun eh.

EDIT: o ya, you need a deed of sale to do a transfer.
