actually the casa's driver are doing as a favor, kasi they are driving the car to it's limit, which is a good thing, kung may problema na ung car whether sa engine or suspension eh, lalabas na kaagad, so kng may problem na nagmanifest under warranty, u have you're right to claim for the warranty of the car... just my opinion...

In fact, Richard and Rovic were trained PDR specialist ng Nissan plant sa Sta. Rosa (hapon na taga nissan ang nagturo sa kanila) way back early 2000 when the plant was still operational.

Believe me, there are other drivers who race with other casa drivers to the dealership and driving the cars like they stole them. I don't think that's doing anybody a favor. I would never want to get a car driven to the dealer if I were to pay hard earned money for a brand new car.

Exactly, lalabas kaagad - because you sped up the wear and tear process by pushing it to its limit too soon!

The key is to let the mechanical parts settle and find their sweet spots in their own tolerances. I can never stress this enough. I'd hate to buy a used car that's been treated this way from the time it got out of the dealer.

So pag dito gawa tapos walang truck eh dina-drive papunta casa....?

Synthetic tapos break in period di ba hindi advisable?

    +1.

Around three weeks ago, I chanced upon two Adventure units and one Outlander unit, all brand-new (no plates), speeding along Ortigas Ave. with hazards flashing. Turns out that they were being driven from the Mitsubishi plant to the Union Motors pre-release inspection facility in Pasig.

I'd hate to see even one of them scrape a body panel on the road, just because of some careless factory employee.

sa palagay ko... ok lang naman na hataw yung oto kung brake-in stage pero wag lang siguro madalas. yung oil niya for pms at 1000kms baka puro impurities kasi first oil yan when the car is manufactured...

SAs often gives the tag line, "After 1000km magiimprove yan"

Like suspension ride or Fuel Consumtion even the acceleration.

From my experience theres no changes or miracle that will happen to your car after the first 1000km. Kaya kung may naramdaman kayo hindi maganda, insist them on checking it out,

The way i see it, andito lang talaga ang Scope of Warranty nila and not the 100,000 or 3 years.

personally, i just do not abuse my engine. break in period or not. common sense.
i also believe the break-in period is more critical in colder countries. in our tropical country, just drive normally and have the 1000 km change oil. and don't abuse the car.
i have this suspicion that the break-in period is designed to minimize engine damage brought about by manufacturing and assembly "errors" like loose nuts, weak metal parts, etc.... am i suggesting you abuse the engine so that manufacturing imperfections will come out during the warranty period?

Yes, break-in were designed by the makers of the cars to ensure that in the first 1,000kms, the mechanical parts will settle nicely. So better be gentle in doing so. PATIENCE is a definitely a VIRTUE!

Kami nga 800 kms pa lang change oil na agad just to be sure eh. Tapos 4,500km ulit for anything brand new (motorcycyel or cars).

Tignan mo sa last part, may binibiida siyang magazine!

    no jackrabbit or rubber-burning starts.
put eggs between your foot and the accelerator pedal, and don't crack them.
and keep the rpm below 2500.
ok ok. forget the eggs part..
