which is better between the 1.5 and 1.3 variants of honda city 2009 / 2010

naghahanap po kasi ako ng 2nd hand na car at honda city, di ko lang kasi alam kung alin ang mas ok sa dalawa in terms of overall performance and kung malaki ba difference nila sa fuel economy. alin po ba ang mas ok na kunin? TIA

Go with the 1.5L City E model. Better performance, better fuel efficiency. Unless you opt for MT, your only choice is the 1.3L model. The City E also has more features - paddle shifters, rear sensors, etc.

Our family has both the 2009 City 1.5E and a 2009 Jazz 1.3L AT. The Jazz and City both share the same platform and engines. Based on our usage, the City 1.5E is more fuel efficient compared to the Jazz 1.3L AT. Though both lack low-rpm grunt/pull but the City 1.5E gets up to speed faster when on the highway. The Jazz 1.3L AT needs to be revved high just to push it past triple-digit speeds.
