We need a second car. I want something that is inexpensive, selling price, maintenance, and fuel.
I already have a Haima 7. Do you think buying an Alto800 standard is cost-effective? Or it's just a waste of money?
What do you guys think?
PS: Takot ako sa Eon, kasi Hyundai.![]()

The new car has some extra legroom and headroom over the old ones, but for a single driver, it's not worth worrying about. Buying secondhand means you only lose about 50-60k in depreciation over 5 years if you buy smart. Buy a secondhand Standard and your running costs will be very low. It's not as nice as the newer ones, and the gearshift sucks (new 800 has a better gearshift than the old one, or even the Eon... or even the Mirage...) but it's a great alternative to biking or commuting. ;)
