Well, check out any defects or malfunctioning parts. Kung medyo metikuloso ka, pansinin mo rin kung may rattles or squeaks sa loob. Of course, test drive the car, and if you have a trusted mechanic, have him inspect the car you intend to buy.

January 16th, 2003 02:02 AM #5now that's a hard situation you are in. buying a used car can really burn you if you're not careful. there's some really people out there who will sell you sub standard stuff at a price waay more than it's worth. try mbt's link for more info.
here's also a link on an article concerning that topic:

January 16th, 2003 02:17 PM #6Test drive mo sa rough road to check kung may kalampag, dalin mo sa gas station pa lift mo para tignan mo kung may bulok o kaya baka may bangga or na head on na pina restore lang, check mo yung ilalim ng makina baka madaming leak o kaya baka blowby na. Saka mo kunin yong yung xerox copy ng or and cr para ma verify baka hot car.

your best bet is to buy from a seller you know personally... yun nga lang, if you're looking for an uncommon car, you may not have much choice... siguro your next safest option is to buy from reputable posters selling here at tsikot.com and at other message boards

Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
