June 10th, 2015 10:45 PM #24Pwede nga siya nag innova then fold lahat kung nasa choice nya APV.
So, it all boils down to volume, weight, frequency.
Baka gusto ni TS mag reveal pa about how he will use it.
Pero kung catering si TS, get a Canter.
By the way, we use an Advie to deliver heavy but small loads regularly.

June 10th, 2015 11:09 PM #25Meron namang APV na FB type pero kumpara sa iba medyo maliit at mas magastos ang konsumo. Personally mas maipipili ko ang IPV, Hilux FX o L200 FB due to the more powerful engines and presence of a hood. Nakasakay na ako sa IPV, L300 at H100. Di naman nagkakalayo ang rear A/C nila para sakin, pare parehong di ganon kalakas. Perhaps kung nakabili ka pwede palitan ng mas malakas na compressor and/or blower?
Kung magsasakay ka ng mabigat, perhaps it would also be wise to check the loading capacity of your options.

June 10th, 2015 11:22 PM #26Re: Sa APV FB or something like it. Again, depends on the intended use. I'd like to have one para sa minor deliveries namin.
But, agree ako. For heavy duty, go with the vets.
Get a no a/c variant and have an a/c specialist install your a/c of choice. Then get something to deflect the heat from the engine.
If ako nag deliver personally, L200 (et al.) din ako. If driver namin, well walang reklamo mga yun basta bayad sila.

before I used my 2001 carnival for a number of years to deliver food, tables, and chairs to our clients, tinanggal ko yung back seats. I have to let go of it few months ago, minalas e, nakakuha ng siraniko

June 11th, 2015 08:33 AM #28^A close relative of mine uses their LWB 2011 Carnival as a delivery vehicle for their perishable goods business on their IPV's coding day. Besides the easily soiled beige interior, when all the seats are folded up (major consideration when they bought the vehicle) the cargo area is actually bigger than the IPV's.

June 11th, 2015 08:34 AM #29Kung set ka na sa L300, matibay yan kahit laspag. Ang sakit ng L300 ay:
1. Mainit sa pwet dahil nasa ilalim ang makina. Lagyan mo lang ng insulation. Madami sa Home Depot, Our Home etc... masmakapal ang insulation mas ok.
2. Kalawang
3. Malimit bumigay ang power steering hose. Pag papalitan, mas ok ang original. Hindi tumatagal ang after market.
Naka park nung bumaha. Lampas bubong ang tubig. Change all fluids (oil, gear oil, brake fluid, diesel, atf etc..) calibrate injection pump dahil pinasok ng tubig, greasing, palit ng battery, alternator at starter repair lang takbo na ulit.

Buhay na buhay ang BGC this evening. Bukas halos lahat ng restaurants. Sabi pa nung isang cashier...
