i need suggestions for an 8 seater + school bags vehicle....not just any but if you were in-my-shoe suggestions.. what unit will u buy (new or and 2nd hand)...

i am inclined to buy a new L300FB or an H100 FB... pero ayaw ng mga kids... starex and grandia are way too expensive to be expensive to be morning and afternoon school ride..since I always drive innova..

I am hesitant to get a 2nd since I cant find a decent one or at least if the info being feeded are true (low mileage, sariwa, etc)...

I need your opinions and suggestions

    thanks guys

Hayaan mo ang kids. Wag mo spoiled. May pinsan ako na minsan sinusundo ng truck. Ok lang. Di nahihiya. May isa naman akong pinsan na pag sinundo ng truck or l300 nahihiya. Nakakainis lang. Be thankful may sasakyan na maghatid sunod. Because i get your point na masyado ngang mahal ang hiace o starex for just hatid sundo ng bata

How about a used Starex GRX or Jumbo sir? Mas comfy plus safe din para sa occupants over an L300 or H1.

Yes.. i found an 07 grx for 500K and 08 vgt for 640K, both claimed low mileage pero taga manila at cebu... having 2nd thoughts kasi brand new L300 cost around 741K... which I think gives more peace of mind.

    Thanks sa reply

yes po.. I get your point... would you prefer the hyundai h100 than the L300? I heard stories that its aircon is better and bigger engine... but the L300 is old school reliable for more than a decade.. parts availability is never a question...

Mas ok idrive ang h100 kaysa l300. Pero yes, widely available ang parts ng l300 plus kahit anong mekaniko marunong

A friend of mine is selling their GRX 2006 model yata. Still at 23k kms. Matagal talaga di nagamit kasi umalis ng Manila sila for sometime before.
I'd ask the price. Pero if ever interested ka PM mo ako. I assure you na maayos pa yun. Test drove it last week. Ayos na ayos pa

Starex GRX is a good choice. There's also the Ford Everest. Huge interior space, durable underpinnings, long service life... If you want something more comfortable, the best 8 seater I've ridden in is the LWB Carnival. Proper seating for 8 full sized adults, plus their luggage for an out of town trip plus pasalubong.

I saw a 2015 Suzuki APV high version at stock yard here in our area... I think it would be a bargain since the right tail light is broken and needs little repair on the rear due to bumping accident...

    how reliable is an APV?

As far as I know... reasonably so... pero malakas sa gas. And matagtag.

Budget? If i had around 800K to use for an 8 seater (with bags) for school hops and tootling around the metro, I'd look for a second hand Nissan Urvan (2012 to 2015 model). Easy to maintain with its old school 2.7L diesel.

How about this? A toyota hilux fx hilux-fb.jpg

or Dmax IPV or Mitsu L200 fb. Much better than L300 fb. But of course the drawback is the maintenance. Easiest vehicle to maintain is L300 fb, but be careful sa ASBU.

A 15 seater AUV is the perfect vehicle for school transport duty. It is, after all, the vehicle of choice of school service units. Monthly fees for those are most definitely not cheap. So wala dapat ikinahihiyan if you ride those to school.
