Huwag sir... Mahirap po talaga gumamit ng tig-50k na sasakyan. At least 100k dapat ang budget mo if you're gonna buy a decent car. Siguro at least 70-80k for the car and then the rest for repairs.

salamat po sa mga reply.. all are greatly appreciated
currently i own a mio amore
complete gears na din for the rider and backride :D
At first I am also thinking of getting an owner-type jeep, problem is hindi ka pwede basta mag iwan ng kahit anong gamit, walang aircon at hindi kasi dry ng kotse kapag umuulan..
if you guys tell that a 50k-worth of car would not do me any good, then maybe I should really need to save some more.
Actually someone is selling me a mazda 323 astina for 50k, engine di pa nabuksan, tahimik pa, mileage is 190k.. Major problem is yung pintura, kasi sobrang kupas na ng hood and bubong dahil naka bilad lagi sa arawan, both shocks sa likod needs to be replaced..muntik ko na kunin, nag dalawang isip lang ako kasi wala ako kasama mekaniko nun..
50k nga ang bili mo sa sasakyan pero God knows how much you'd have to spend para maayos ang sasakyan. I'd suggest you save up some more and get a B13 Sentra.
got my lancer Itlog dati at 70k.. hindi ako maselan sa paint snake skin na nga yun eh... aircon is ok.. engine is ok.. may sounds naman.. suspension is not that ok pero hindi parang taxi... baka ganoon yung condition nung astina I think ok na yun...

if i were to up my budget a little bit?what model and brand can you guys suggest
and also regarding sa mileage, nasa mga anong range po ba kung mga 1995 model below?
thanks po!!
*TS, remember old and not properly maintained cars are not fuel efficient. I suggest you invest your P50k as down payment to a brand new standard ALTO then use the amount you save on gas for your monthly amortization.
TS, hwag kang magmadali in buying a 2nd hand car. Try to extend your budget up to 150K, more or less, kung pwede nga, save ka muna up to 200K and targetin mo ang late 90's japanese leading car brands like toyota, mitsubishi, honda and nissan.
Kahit sa multicab, ang decent condition is about 100-120K. I remember a friend of mine who bought an owner type jeep with isuzu gemini engine for 50K, halos pareho o mas malaki na daw ang gastos nya sa parts and repairs kaysa unit price ng owner nya, worst, mga 4-5 months na ngayon di nya nagagamit, naloko pa ng mekaniko nya, ninakawan ng parts ang oto nya.
50k? wont do good at all.. increase your range
pde mo pang down ang 50k.. pero dapat handa ka rin sa monthly mo malaki din yan ranging 10-15k for 5years 30k for 3years..
thanks po sa lahat ng reply...
medyo na realize ko na din na wala pupuntahan ang 50k for a car, maybe it really is not the time for me..
