Civic ES

Ford Focus TDCi

City
CR-V
Hyundai Accent 2006 <- not sure. hehe
Vios
Nissan Sentra/Exalta
Ford Lynx
Mas ok na cguro, mag 50% downpayment for a brand new car (750k and below) with 12 to 36 months amortization. At least, may peace of mind and also (3 years warranty). Mahirap na din maghanap ng 2nd hand na hindi Ondoy-victim.
Problem is. If the TS can shoulder all of the misc. fees ... i.e. it's insurance and registration cost plus, of course, it's amort. which will be about 6-8k depends on the downpayment.
But .. it's a good advice tho'. If you can shoulder the expense, I second the motion for the brand new vehicle
Brand new, the only thing you should consider buying at 500k is the i10... hands down.
Secondhand, there's a lot of good stuff... but the best bet would be a year-old Vios or Jazz... which would still have a lot of warranty coverage left and little wear-and-tear from the previous owner.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
thanks for the replies. still thinking over and over again. many thanks![]()
My vote goes to Focus TDCi haha! It looks cool for me, pati yung engine hands down![]()
^^ Maybe from a good relative or friend of yours who happens to own one and likes to sell it.
Well ... I think the ghia sells cheaper.
cheapest my officemate scouted for 3mos, saw and bought was 720K Gen1 TDCi.. confirmed non-Ondoy car to... out of budget to for TS..
brand new ka na lang brader.. add another 100K sa budget mo and you'll get a very decent brand new ride... maraming all-in promos ngaun.. no need to worry about the LTO/compre etc fees..
i10 is the best choice na walang shellout na extra.. cute ito!![]()

Wait for Tuason Racing to blow one up. I'm sure they'll sell it to you cheap, with the assorted bits of debris and engine parts in a box in the back seat.
Well, the racecar doesn't have a backseat... but hey! That gives it lots of cargo space!
Sadly, no, they haven't blown one up yet... though they've destroyed quite a few brakes (really heavy car for a racer).

The 2nd hand Vios takes the cake. Warranty should cover some problems that might occur so no added expenses besides the cash out for the purchase.
ako din, vios 08-09 model para may warranty pa rin. pero kung gusto ng laruan- SiR na lang...![]()
