I have an 11th gen Altis, not a 9th gen. But one of my aunts had a 9th gen before, served her for over 10 years without any major issues. Drove the car several times, and I was surprised that for an old car it had absolutely no rattles. Of course, not as inspiring to drive as a similarly aged Mazda 3, but if you just need a point A to point B car, it serves its purpose well.

Good luck with your purchase Mr. Pool. [emoji6]

350k for a well-maintained Jazz of that age is pretty fair. [emoji4]

Remember, for older GD Jazzes with the CVT, pay particular attention to the condition of the transmission.

GE Jazz 5ATs are more durable. Fuel economy not as good as the older car, but not that bad considering how spacious the GE Jazz is.

    Mazford. Banawe.

They have most common maintenance and suspension parts.

Cosmetic parts, panels, etcetera, will depend on what model you're looking at.

RE: Altis: Definitely better than the Sentra, but then again, the Sentra costs much, much less secondhand.

If you're buying it as a temporary service, you can get a relatively new Sentra for around 150k or so. With a 1.3 and a manual transmission, they're pretty efficient, if slow.
