    Both have 50k+ mileage.

Both have clean interiors, thick tires, and clean engine (so I can confirm the low mileage).

Both at the same price, which one should I choose?

Kung 3.0 lang yung MU-X, then I'd go for that one. Mas bago yun eh at di masyado matagtag but the interior is so-so. In this case, mas okay yung Fortuner if you want power.

    Both around 50k+ mileage.

Both still thick tires and interiors still good so the mileage checks out.

Thanks for your input sir. Mas matipid ba sa diesel tong 4x4?

Additionally, naka 2inch lift up na pala yung fortuner ironman kit worth 70k at new bridgestone tires.

Depends on your priorities. The Fortuner 4x4 is known for being thirsty due to the combination of full time 4WD, 3.0 engine and 4 speed AT. But then it is top of the line and has the extra grunt and 4x4 should that be a deal breaker for you.

If you just need a reliable and efficient city driver, and you don't mind driving a manual, then by all means go for the MUX. It still offers decent highway performance and light off road capabilities should the situation call for it.

Test drive both before coming to a decision!

How thirsty can it get? Full time 4wd pala kala ko pwede siya if 4x2 pag city lang. We're leaning towards the AT since matrapik na yung city area namin, although Mu-x provides better ride (not sure how the fortuner will handle ride quality since naka ironman lift kit na din siya) and fuel efficiency.

So it boils down to either going for fuel efficiency (mu-x) or comfort in driving mode during traffic [and off-road capabilities] (fortuner).
