kng lagyan mu ng mas malaking ampir ung amplifier anu mangyari? bibigay ba ng malaking volt?

Nope, it is a safety feature. If there is a surge of voltage that goes thru the amplifier, more than it is designed to take, then it is the fuse's job to cut off the power supply so that the amplifier won't be damaged.

Think of it this way, it is like a circuit breaker for the amplifier.

The fuse is for protection of your electricals outside of the Amp.

The fuse is there to protect your amp. Its designed to be the weak link in the electrical system and blow in case of short circuit or electrical problems. Simplest explanation is its there to sacrifice itself and thus saving your amp from damage.

Don't change it to a higher rated fuse. It might not blow and your amp will be toast. :electricf:

I know they also sell circuit breakers for cars. Saw some a long time ago. It is more expensive than fuses.

BTW, make sure you install a properly rated fuse or breaker within 18 inches of your battery. Its to protect your car incase your power cable going to your amp gets damaged.

There are some vehicles with circuit breakers. Nissan Patrols use them for their power windows.

The breakers reset themselves after they trip and are not accessible without taking the dash apart.

These types of breakers are thermally operated in the same way thermostat does. They reset themselves when the temperature reduced below the tripping point.

whats the use of the fuse in the amp? give more volt?
