full seg ang tv box di ba? pero yung broadcast ng mga local channels is 1 seg rin, except kay tv5 ata na naka full seg.

project done. tv+ tuner and cheapo lcd display onboard. hehe

parts needed and cost:

TV+ isdb tuner = 2500
2nd hand 7" lcd display inclusive of cigarette port power adaptor and RCA to TRRS (AV cable)= 650
tablet windshield mount for the LCD = 350
3.5mm to 3.5mm extension cable (1m) =70

may spare cigarette port splitter na nakatambak sa bahay kaya yun ang ginamit ko, spliced and tapped a 2-wire male-female connector from suking hardware at nagtap sa tv box (may nakatambak ding power adaptor na sukat sa tv box, i cut off the end that goes in the box and connected it sa m-f connector. then the lcd display is powered also via the splitter, so yung splitter nalang ang isasaksak sa cigarette port for tv use.

ginamit ko yung headphone out nung lcd display at kinabit sa aux in ng stock HU para magamit pa rin yung steering remote kahit volume lang. hehe yung tv box nakadikit lang sa side ng kambyo by double sided outdoor type adhesive tape (3M brand).

yung antenna is located sa likod ng lcd para hindi kita/pansinin. was planning ilagay sa rear windshield but since pareho lang ang sagap ng signal eh dun nalang sa less trabaho. =)

I'm eying to buy the cybertech box. But I may need the services of a (very crafty) auto electrician to connect and properly mount it on my Ford Escape ICE edition. Can anyone recommend one or a shop to have it done?

I have the abs tv box installed sa sedan. Yung antenna nasa likod. Madalas nag ha-hang while driving kahit nasa city.

^ ano po specs and saan naka bili ng cig lighter plug for the tv box?

BTW yung aux jack (yung mukhang earphone jack) sa AVT HU ng montero, audio and video IN pala yun. so RCA- Jack cable lang kailangan solve na pairing ng tv box and HU. Yung power supply na lang ng tv box, di ko alam saan makakabili ng cig lighter adaptor.

Yung sa pag hang naman, di ko pa nasubukan tv box while driving. pero based sa observation sa tv box ko sa condo which is 20 floors up between qc and manila, mukhang nag hang dahil mahina pa talaga transmission ng mga stations, maybe same reason din why nasisira reception pag nagalaw antenna. Susceptible din sa interference ng ibang device which in my case philips soundbar with wireless sub.

for the abs tv box, the antenna base have quite strong magnet and is best located on the roof of the vehicle for best/stable reception ... with the antenna on the roof, i could drive 100kph on expressway without signal dropouts

i believe the metal roof of the car helps in better reception, serving as some sort of ground plane

Hi im a newbie here... I have an adventure super sport. I also wan to install tv tuner.. Para mapagana ang tv sa HU ko. Coupd anyone help me refer someone or shop na nagiinstall ng tv tuner.
