what can you say about .1% THD ratings of amps like boston, jl, against 1% THD ratings of amps like infinity, jbl, etc.

is it true that pag 1% THD mas malaki talaga ang power rating but more distortion so mas ok ang .1% THD?

planning to buy an infinity amp rated at 50+W x4 * 1% THD.

i read somewhere that companies deliberately put power ratings * 1% THD para mataas yung power rating and its not the real power rating since rated at *1% THD, mataas yung distortion.

one more thing, how come some component speakers are rated *2ohms, pwede ba gumamit ng 4ohm amp to power the 2ohm speaker w/o any wiring tricks?

True.. the more you raise the outpower the higher the THD.

It's higher than the RMS power rating but more distorsion.

Yes you can use 2 ohm speakers on a 4 ohm amplifier as long its in stereo mode not in bridged mode.
