January 4th, 2009 05:16 AM #12Hi for subs my first choice was JBL. But awhile ago we decided to build an enclosure using 2 x 12" Targa with a proper enclosure tuning and internal volume. Sounded amazing! SEE PICTURE BELOW FOR TARGA. But for your separates I suggest invest a really good brand. GOOD LUCK!

Sige try ko na subs muna bilin ko.. JBL what model po ba yung pinaka maganda.. and lates at posible price pati po yung ported box magkanu sya? kung may matitira pa sa 10k bibili na din ako ng seps.
salamat po ulti. nag browse po ako sa site ng JBL di ko maintindihan hahaha...

anong amp gagamitin saka ano specs? jbl gto ata ung entry level nila. yan din gamit ko ngayon ok naman tumunog.

January 5th, 2009 10:32 AM #16Hi..yong kapatid meron siyang JBL GTO 75.4 pinadrive niya ang front channel sa components and yong rear( bridge mode) sa 1 x kicker L5 12" in seald enclosure..kayang kayang sa JBL dalhin..we're surprise kung gaano ka lakas ang JBL. Pinatest pa nga namin ang SPL umabot sa 137db (in seald). Recently pinadrive niya ang JBL 75.4 ng 6 components speakers (with proper load impedance) wala din kaming masabi sa performance ang ampli..
Choosing JBL brands "hindi lang pangpamilya pang sports pa" LOL

I agree with one of the members, try first to audition. It will really make a big difference, because sometimes brand names and models dont matter, your listening pleasure will still decide if you have a good sound setup. Also sir try to invest in very good separates, they will really be the starting point of a good setup. Basta sir audition muna if you have time.

mag audition ka paps ng straight targa at jbl...
sa akin kasi (budget meal) straight targa kasi setup ko ngayon, kaso pang sq lang pero may kunting boom boom...
6.5" seps sa harap - 1450.00
6" co-axial sa rear - 900.00
12" sub, dvc - 1600.00
box for 12" (sealed) - 1300.00
wiring - 1800.00
labor (shop ni caloy) - 500.00
total 7550.00
satisfied naman ako sa tunog kahit sq lang pero if nilakasan mo, kakabog din dibdib mo...

salamat po sa mga reply.. targa or jbl? parang gf po nangyari wala po sa kanila ang nakuha ko akala ko sila na may iba pa pala.. nag straight ryan audio ako yung kevlar series 6501Q seperates, amplifier 80.4Q at 1200D Subwoofer. baka this week ikabit yung ryan na amp ko pinalitan ko na yung unang amp ko na silicon tatak repaired na kasi kaya may konting hissssss na sound.. grabe ubos pera imbes na 10k umabot ng 21K hahahaha! syempre nag pakabit nalng din ako medyo maayos na, 4k plus inabot wires lang.. haha.. tpos mdf spacer pa para sa seps ko.. grabe!!!
