July 16th, 2003 07:13 PM #1peeps.... I plan to buy 12" Targa subs, dalawang klase kasi yon yung SVC and DVC ano bang okay sa car. Alin ang mas maganda ang tunog since pareho lang naman sila ng wattage?
by the way my amp is a fenton 4100 (1000 watts RMS)

lam ko walang bearing sa SQ yun svc or dvc. its just there for config compatibilty with the amp.

July 16th, 2003 08:29 PM #3yes, flexibility lang for impedance matching/configuration. baka you would upgrade later on to a different amp/set-up, dvc would be more adaptable, pwede kasi syang i-series/parallel connection to different impedance.
paki-correct na lang ako mga bossing...

You're right Push. Pang wiring flexibility lang ang advantage ng DVC sa SVC. Like what cardo said, it has no bearing sa SQ.

July 22nd, 2003 02:49 AM #6If you plan to keep one single 12" sub get the SVC,
if your planning to add more in the future get the dvc.
sample ng wiring diagrams

It shows you all the possible parallel or series wiring you can do with a 2 ohm or 4 ohm sub.
