Old models of Sony Xplod are as good as garbage.

Try the new models which are the GT Series of their Xplod lines, they are getting better now. I am amazed, comparable to Pioneer's DEH lines already

But their speakers(mobile 2-way/3-way/woofers/tweeters/mid-range) and subs, based by my actual tests, are still no good. Guess Sony is not focusing on their drivers for improvements but rather in their HU only.

Now I am using Sony Xplod GT Series(their latest models) and my little car is boom boom already with the use of DYI recycled and low cost speakers.

Do hope Sony shall improve their mobile speakers and subs lines also someday.

ganun? panget ba tumunog yung xplod speaker? ang ganda pa namn ng marketing designs nila. wala rin palang performance. okay pa ata yung subs kong konzert. 2 10" na 180 watts. v12 na amps lang nilagay ko, boom boom na.... buti na lang! gusto ko pa naman mag palit ng ganun...

I was planning to buy sony xplode cdx-v3800 for 7k or cdx-v5800 for 7.5k both vcd/mp3/cd receiver, any comments tungkol dito.

acctually, sa gateway meron show doon about sony explode, meron pa akong pix nun, pati mga types of sub and speakers nila. sa akin comment, medyo kulang ang pa. (sorry for the word) pero parang mas mabayo at maganda kalansin ng mga patok na jeep sa taytay rizal-angono heheheh!!!! at mga patok na triycle sa area namin.... siguro d masyadong surround yun lagayan ng sub... comment ko lang po yun.... sana meron mas clear pa na comment.

Sana XPLOD ang ipapalagay ko sa Trooper ko pero sabi ng iba hindi daw maganda yung mga subs ng Sony, yung hindi surround (matigas) or di maganda ang talbog ng subs. Kaya kahit medyo mahal nilagyan ko nalang ng MB Quartz na seperates at MTX na subs.

Lahat ng nilagay ko sa Trooper pinabili ko sa states. yung seps=30-35k yata subs=10-15k kasama yung box(if converted to peso)
yung amp nakalimutan ko na pero Alpine yun. Pero pwede naman yata yung Pioneer V12 amp.
