I have an Alpine 7930 single CD car stereo and I want to use this as my HU. However, I am having problem with the wiring connections. Wala din akong makita so far sa internet.
The red wire I know goes to the positive(+) wire and the black one as ground(-) sa battery.
How about the yellow wire(with a 3amp fuse) that indicates "TO CAR ACCESSORY"? How can I connect this yellow wire to test the car stereo?
Can I put the yellow wire together with the red wire onto the positive terminal?
I tried to open the old stock stereo but I can't find any diagram and there's no black/yellow wiring...just blue and red. Try ko din kung my label na TO ACCESSORY sa mga lights pero wala din akong makita.
if im not mistaken. if you connect the yellow wire with the red wire you can turn on the HU even without turning the key to acc. if you connect it to the acc you can only listen to the HU if the key is above the acc. better look for the wires in the ignition switch.
Natry ko na ring i-connect ang red and yellow(together) going to the (+) battery terminal and black to (-) terminal ayaw pa ring mag power ang car stereo.
Kapag naman iyong yellow wire lang going to (+) terminal and (neg goes to ground) nag spark ang wire.
my alpine (na 2nd hand cd-ready), the red wire sa accessories switch and the yellow wire directly sa positive terminal ng battery. yellow wire kasi to power the memory of the HU (clock and pre-sets ba). both red and yellow have fuses for protection.
Looks like this unit(7903 not 7930) needs an amplifier for the power. Nagtanong ako sa mga nag auction sa ebay and they told me that I need an amp to power this HU dahil walang sariling power supply sa loob.
I have Alpine 7833, i tap both red and yellow to + batt. and black wire to the ground, nag power-up ang unit. pero kung yellow or red with black lang hindi nag pa-power on. Baka ibig sabihin nila "you need an amp to use this unit", some Alpine car stereo does'nt have a built-in power amplifier, hindi power supply. Kung walang speaker wires ang harness at RCA OUT lang, no built-in amp ang CD receiver. Kung ayaw talagang mag ON baka sira yan.
Black - Ground
Yellow - Positive battery
Red - Switched positive
Blue - Remote to amp
Line outputs - for amp

Hook-up ko pag uwi put CD and test radio, OK naman.
