maganda ba brand na to? my impression of it is that it isn't B), buti was intrigued by this particular model that had an SD card slot(up to 3gb), plus a USB port; i haven't seen these features in the higher end models

'Had one before (pero hindi yung ganyang model). As far as my experience went, oks naman. Yung dating model ko may built-in booster at 7-brand GEQ. While hinde sya Alpine o Pioneer o Clarion, I was quite satisfied with the performance. I mean for the amount I got it for (2K ata), I was surprised by how well it performed. Service was easy - sa Raon lang.

You get what you pay for, if di ka maselan sa tatak, feel ng product, basta tumutunog ng matino, pwede na yan.

Yep, sila yun. In fairness, they have gotten better pero syempre wala pa sa league nung mga "big boys".

M54: Huy, kahit ganun lang yung booster na yun, NEVER magagawa ng Pioneer/Alpine/Sony ang market saturation ng product na yun hehe.

He he he, mismo. Ang mga pinagkakabitan eh ranges from pedicab to tricycles to jeeps to autos to trucks. Hirap atang mangyari to sa mga Pioneer/Alpine/Sony/Clarion/Kenwood/Blaupunkt na booster/amplis.

most of their models seem to have quite a number of switches/buttons for frequency equalizing(tama ba wording ko?) -- medyo baduy tignan, and i seldom fiddle with those things anyways.

me website ba sila? my googling has turned up nil so far. i'm thinking about either getting one, or somehow hacking the old HU and put a CD/AUX in, and then plug in an mp3 player. wish me luck B)

Bro, 'ala silang website AFAIK pero baka 'rin under a different name. May EQ/Bosster model ang Proline na may aux-in and/or CD-in jack so pwede mong i-plug yung MP3 player mo. I had a similar setup before dun sa bulok ko na owner - yung EQ/Booster may CD-in jack so naikakabit ko yung Discman ko.

Sumakay ka ng kahit anong locally manufactured bus (even by big companies), and malamang Proline ang makikitang mong HU/PA nila.

ISO certified ang Dai-ichi and thay supply to big name brands abroad such e.g. KEF, Celestion, Radio Shack, MTX and Cerwin Vega to name a few. Malay nyo, baka yung coil at cone ng MTX separates nyo eh sa factory ng Dai-ichi gawa, he he he.
