i've been using a tape casette to play the ipod in my car pero im not satisfied with the quality... nawawala ang highs and lows. my HU is Clarion ARX4670 or Clarion RAX460D (U.S. only) or TY1001A-A ... may Aux in ito kasi may option siya sa "function" pero i dont know if i should go to nissan directly to get them to attach the ipod or should i go to banawe or somewhere else... wat do i need to attach the ipod?? wat cables?

There's the iPod Mobile Interface Kit from Audiovox. It interfaces with the CD changer port of almost any HU. Insallation is mostly DIY. For Pioneer HUs, there's the CB-100

Ay, oo. RB-10 nga pla. The CB-100 is a 100amp circuit breaker. Nagka-halo halo na yung iniisip ko kanina. Thanks for the correction.

Medyo hindi maganda ang consumer reviews sa i-trip. I think you can ask any local Apple Mac dealer kung available na sa kanila yung adapter ng Audiovox.

Bili ka ng new Pioneer series HU (7750, 6750, 5750 or 4750) plus CD-IB 100 Ipod Adpator.

    kyle618,
depende sa HU mo yan. You need to buy an Aux in wire kit for your HU. Usually yung input ng changer yung ang kino-convert para maging line in.

Yung ibang HU naman may built in line in kasya stereo jack like the sotck eclipse/fujitsu 10HU of the rav 4

    ***edit.

ayun clarion pala yung HU mo. Try mo dun sa showroom ng clarion sa Tutuban or yung sa Malapit sa monumento baka meron sila nung aux in wire kit for your HU. kung wala dun I guess sa US lang meron

I know Aiwa has one, but it's a basic stereo and people sa iPodlounge.com buy it because it is cheap. Kung gusto mo ang good quality HU you will have to spend more money. Kenwood, Clarion and Alpine have HUs that have various ranges of iPod integration.

I bought this along with this cable so I can connect my iPod to my Mazda3's stock HU.

after pushing it back i have finally decided to go through wth this... so i think ...

its either the "3.5mm stereo plug to RCA"
    which is this http://www.installer-data.com/item/d...p?it=ipodcable
    * i already have the 3.5mm stereo plug to RCA*

    or

    "8Pin to 3.5mm" cable
    this http://www.installer-data.com/item/d...?it=blau10-3-5

*if this is wat i need then i have buy it somewhere...

anyway i've been meaning to ditch my tape casette adapter for a while now and now it finally pushed through because i broke it .

would you consider buying an iTrip ... it lets your Ipod broadcast to an FM band ... maganda naman ang quality ... though it depends on how good your fm receiver is ;-) why don't you give it try

Yeah, don't bother with FM transmitters. They don't wory very well and are overpriced..

Using an Aux in cable won't help you too much with the quality. Not much more than getting a better Tape Adaptor. I would recommend a fully-digital connection; one that connects to the dock rather than the headphone jack, since it bypasses the amplifier, giving you a more 'pure' sound.

I'm not sure if they're all that available here, or if you'll need to replace your amp/front end.
