Hi guys!
Newbie here. Please comment on my new SQ audio set-up...I'm just really after sound quality (w/ a little bass sound). My new car has JVC HU but it has only 2 stock speakers so I really want to have it upgraded. Anyway, here's the new set-up:
Front: Blaupunkt 2-way component system, 210watts (nalilito lang ako...eps na kaya 'to?)
Rear: Blaupunkt 2-way coaxial speakers, 190watts
Steel Mate Sub w/ built-in amp, 160watts
Medyo praning lang kasi ako I paid P16k for this particular set-up...do you think napa-mahal ako or what? Any other budget upgrades that I shoud do to improve my audio?
Thanks a lot in advance...medyo baguhan kasi ako eh...

mad: It's an "audio" system, it's hard to comment on it with words and not by sound

I dont know about pricing back home but your 16 grand could be much high even you are using the GT series Blaupunkt component system and coaxial speakers. Well, you must have to learn to liken your system or it wont do any good. Regardless, Blaupunkt is a damn good speaker too, there been around in the audio world more than I can remember. Cheer up!

Di ka "napamahal", you bought an international brand equipment, comparing by price alone (especially if we're talking about audio related stuff) is rather shallow in value. It's all about how the components are installed and integrated together.

Tama sila...
Ang sounds, personal na personal iyan. No one can state that your setup is garbage if you like how your speakers, HU and amp (and whatever added bits) sound.
Kaya mahalaga sa car audio ang pag-"audition" ng speakers...different brands and even different products from the same brand each have their own sound. Even the car where they're installed in has an effect.
Ang advice ko lang: don't believe the maximum power output figure. Bihirang-bihira mo maririnig yan---at madalas kapag naabot na ng speakers mo ang max output, masisira na sila. Look for a "continuous power output" figure instead, usually stated in "X Watts RMS" (RMS = root mean square). That is a better reflection of how powerful your speakers are performing in normal conditions.
Ang mahalaga enjoy ka sa sounds mo Peace bro and congrats on your Blaus
