The reason why I opted with X595BT. Pero nung nakabit sa vios ko, may spacer nga na needed sa mga gilid unlike siguro sa mga 200mm units like AVIC na hindi na need ng spacers. Parang naliliitan pa pala ako sa 7inch na screen hehe.

AVIC also uses Papago for navigation. I wonder if it is as good as Waze or Google maps for PH use.

My AVH-X595BT no longer mirrors Waze from my iPhone. It has been like this ever since I updated to iOS 11. Is there any fix / firmware update that I can download to rectify this? I have checked the Pioneer PH and US websites, but found no available updates...

I think the newer Z series has a resistive type of display technology versus the capacitive type in the A series. It can the other way around, so I am not sure as well :D

Usually the features in Pioneer head units differ by:

1. Steering wheel control support (some units need additional modules while others work directly like in the case of my X595BT working with the steering wheel buttons on my vios).
2. NTFS filesystem support. Not all units support NTFS and most can only read FAT32 on flashdrives.
3. MicroSD support.
4. HDMI input support.
5. Time alignment support or DSP.
6. # of USB ports available. Other units have dual usb that have ios and android support respectively. In my x595bt, I think I have to change cables in order to connect a IOS device.
7. # of camera inputs. mine I think has reverse camera only while other models support front and rear cameras.

Hi, does anyone experience malfunction (the press button for tilting the display won't work, because i want remove the disc) on the (^) eject/tilt function of their X595BT? i tried doing the restore factory settings, but still the same.

i see, thanks bro. i inquired sa Pioneer Phils pero link lang din pinadala. nice if Z series have Android Auto na. i was considering the 6.2" Z2150BT but yung audio shop is offering the wider screen 7" A5150BT instead at a lesser price. i'm upgrading yung old single DIN hu (DEH-80PRS) ng kotse na service ng daughter ko. gusto ng touchscreen daw, jurrassic na daw yung 80prs, though still sounds good [emoji4]

Youre welcome bro. Android Auto is standard across all Z series head units. Apple Car Play only appears at the mid range models. Not sure whether the Z series has a 1 din HU with motorized screen.

I seldom use a gps app like waze on my Android HU, because i have to connect it thru my phone’s hotspot. I just use waze on my phone instead. There is gps app with an offline map installed, i only use it when I’m driving in the province.

Btw, Most android HU’s on the market today, wala pang apple car play/android auto..

For iPhone mirroring, you need a head unit with HDMI output and a lightning to HDMI connector. The AVH-Z2050BT is the cheapest unit that does Carplay and able to mirror iPhone screeen via HDMI.

Costs 25k yata or less.

Either di kompatible yung stock antenna at ginawan lang ng paraan or di masyado nakasaksak lang.

Alam ko may converter ng antenna for pioneer hu's na nabibili.

Suzuki cars, sure ako need ng converter. Mitsu, alam ko plug and play lang sa pioneer.

Yung reception ng pioneer niyo mga sir ok naman? Pacheck ko nalang ulit. I’ve read na madalas talaga ata mangyari after changing stock hu to aftermarket hu, may nangyayari talagang ganito regarding reception of am/fm radio. Trying to eliminate if the problem is only on the antenna/connection and not the head unit.

since other stations works fine, malamang signal / antenna nga.
try mo suggestion ni bro chron
minsan kasi mahina signal ng station sa isang lugar, then malakas sa ibang lugar; just like mobile signals
analog signals pa, dami pwede maka apekto ng signal quality
