    I just got the 8850BT installed mainly for its SQ controls and secondarily for Car Play and Android Auto. While Car Play works fine, I was surprised to find that Android Auto is not supported in the Philippines. WTF right? So I've googled and found some workarounds like bypassing Google Play using VPN. My question to early adopters of Android Auto, what workaround did you use and what the results are? Mainly I want to use Waze and Google Maps on the HU.

    On this topic, anyone knows stores that will allow or have demo units of these pioneer head units before purchase?

    Yung ayaw ko kasi sa touchscreen baka mabagal and laggy yung mga interface (of course, slow/laggy is slightly subjective din, so I'd like to be able to test sana before I make a decision).

    The stores I've gone to, walang available na demo units e.

    Boss, go to Blade and ask them to test the 595BT for you. They are willing naman na ipa-test sayo. Much faster and responsive compared sa ibang Pioneer head units based on experience. And looks like the 8850BT which is their top of the line for 2016 models.

    You can also pass by Winterpine along Araneta Avenue. They are the official supplier of head units for makes such as Isuzu, Mitsubishi, etc. So your warranty should not be void from having your head unit installed there.

    I got my AVH-X595BT and also had it installed there. I am more than happy with the product and its features for the price. The only con I can find would be that it does not support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

    Sana may magpost din ng feedback sa Z series, can't find anything on the net about the display tech used. Sana capacitive na para pwede multi touch lalo na pag naka mirror yung phone.

    AFAIK the new Z series supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, hindi kasi officially available dito Android Auto kaya siguro hindi sinasama sa ads.

    Inquired about the price, z5050 costs 30K and growl around 30-32.

    sa mga naka X595BT, paano palabasin sa display yung spectrum analyzer? then ano current firmware ng unit nyo? sa akin 08.04 then blueetooth is C407

    My AVH-X595BT no longer mirrors Waze from my iPhone. It has been like this ever since I updated to iOS 11. Is there any fix / firmware update that I can download to rectify this? I have checked the Pioneer PH and US websites, but found no available updates...
